Terrible experience yesterday. I suggest going to another location. I'm a delivery driver for a food service company and received my orders at at 1:00pm and 1:30pm, usually orders are ready upon arrival, but when I arrived I instead waited until 2:30pm for my orders. I learned that a gentleman before me had been there since 12:15 and he left around 1:30 with his order. The employees seemed to be working hard but as the pressure built with the lunch crowd, and more and more online pick up showing up the employees began to argue and talk down to each other. One employee cussing and kicking over stuff as she stormed out of the building. Another employee stating that she wasn't going to work on anymore mobile orders until she got the lunch line down. When asked to make my orders the employee instead of just saying yes felt the need to question why I would even have more than one order and I'd just have to wait. Yelling at the customers That It's coming. It will make it to you when it makes it to you. The lady at the register had to be asked multiple times to change her gloves as she was handling money/cards then trying to turn around and stick her hands into food. The same employee that stormed out, hair was so long down to the middle of her back it was hanging over the food. The cashier let tickets pile up instead of pinning them to the wall. They kept putting out mobile orders but none were for the 20 people there waiting for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually love Chipotle for its consistently good food and friendly service. Most of the staff are great, and my recent visit was no exceptionāexcept for one encounter that really threw me off.
While I was speaking with one of the workers about getting a little extra rice on my order, another staff memberāa big, huge, grumpy lady with unrealistic false eyelashes, and ridiculously long braids/locs āinterrupted our conversation out of nowhere. She loudly declared, āNo, that will be extra!ā But hereās the thing: I was asking for more rice, not brisket or anything that would incur an extra charge. Her tone was not only wrong but also unprofessional.
Despite realizing she misunderstood, she proceeded to make my plate with an obvious attitude. It was frustrating because she was so loud and completely wrong in her assumption. Iām left wonderingāwhatās the answer here? Is it no, or is it that Iāll be charged extra? And even if I were to be charged, thereās a better way to handle customer interactions.
Iād suggest a little more mindfulness in communication. Before you speak, get the facts right and treat your customers with respect.
Aside from that unfortunate incident, the rest of the staff was great, and the food was as...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I order a salad I expect more than a smattering of spinach. When I request steak, I should NOT be able to count (10 pcs) each cube of steak. A salad usually includes dressing from what I understand, please explain why I never seem to get dressing at this location ( or any for that matter)? I am so disappointed! I used to be an avid Chipotle customer, not only because the food was great, but because the portion sizes were comparably to the amount of money I spent. I have decided I will no longer spend my money with a company that does not value me as a consumer. It makes no sense that a bowl that was previously $12.95 (INCLUDING guacamole) is now almost $20.00 and contains LESS food! You have become miserly with your meat, your corporate greed is showing with the ridiculous increase in cost, especially in reference to the guacamole, and your lack of customer service (forgetting items that come with the requested bowl) is just deplorable. I refuse. I can only hope that at some point you consider your future customers more; I , however, will not be...
