Showed up at this location today to meet with client as I often do and set my back pack down and wanted to wash my hands before ordering as I have done many times and I know that they have a bathroom code so I approached a young lady behind the counter politely asked for the code and she says to me that I have to purchase something before I could get the code I asked her why she says that it was Starbucks policy puzzled because no one ever told me that before and said to her I am not sure that’s true she assured me that it was I again said mam I just set my bag down and would like to wash my hands reluctantly she mumbled the code 1425 so I went in washed my hands and I noticed another customer a white lady ask a red head lady for the code and they gave it to her no questions then decided to set and observe the counter and I watched at least 6 other people walk up and ask for the code and they hadn’t bought anything but they were all white and then a Arabic lady asked and no problem got the code now I am a retired police officer as well as a ARMY VETERAN been here all of my life come to this store about 10 times a month and I understand that everyone wants to believe Racism doesn’t exist but this is classic she assumed I was one of the many day walkers coming in to use the bathroom which is the reason for the locked doors in the first place the stores in areas where there aren’t homeless people don’t have these locks this is sad and I will never return to...
Read moreUpdate (2/9/20): Management and staff changes have lead to less than desirable experience. While there are several well trained members, the others are struggling. Many of the new faces are unfriendly and struggle to even get an order correct. After placing 3 drink orders today not one of them was entered correctly and then my name was completely wrong. If it wasn't for the experienced and familiar faces I would not recommend this location. This store needs leadership.
Update (3/2/19). I have to say the leadership and team at this location has worked very hard and this now in my bias opinion is one of the best Starbucks locations in Dallas. It does get busy, so if you are in a rush order ahead online.
Update (1/03/19). This has become my go to spot. Yet when I get a non-fat latte with whip I don't expect a third of the drink to be whip. I normally wouldn't say anything as accidents happen. When it happens twice back-to-back and is the same barista something has to change.
A new store has it's growing pains. I am stoked to have a coffee shop between my...
Read moreAlthough I love the convenience of this location, all too often their mobile ordering is down and their drive-thru is packed to the street. To avoid all that inconvenience, you have to go inside. Some locations do a great job of training customer service....This one, however, does not. It's almost like the baristas intentionally try to avoid eye contact and conversation with customers. Each time I stop, I have to ask myself..."Who is the Manager here?" And why isn't he or she improving the customer experience. On my last visit here, I literally saw the barista completely make my drink wrong and make a substitution all without ever telling me until it was presented like I should just have been ok with it. Sadly due to the excessive delay, I couldn't wait any longer for them to correct it, and I had to leave my drink there. They aren't horrible here, and all I see is potential. If you want a consistently positive experience, head over to...
