I visited this store yesterday and the workers were rude. When I walked through the doors, no one greeted me or instantly took my order. There was no line inside. It was like I wasn't even there because no one acknowledged my presence. I just stood there feeling helpless as they talked amongst each other. I believe there were five or six workers and one or two of them were helping customers who used the drive-through. There was some issue with a cash register and customers during drive through had an issue paying. I’m not sure of exactly what the issue/details were because I walked it at the end of it. Ten minutes later, no one still acknowledge me or even said anything. Another customer walks in and goes to the opposite end and instantly places an order, before me. The cash registers were working again. I had been there 10 minutes and no one said I was wrong side. Apparently, I was on the side were you pick up orders but how would I know? There were no signs that told you where to wait or where to place your order. No one told me and the whole point of me walking in was to place an order. It being my first time inside I had no idea I was on the wrong side. That needs to change. Signs should be up to instruct customers where to stand and where to wait. Other fast food stores have the signs and there are no issues. On top on that, the workers knew I had been there before the other customer and didn't say anything. They let him cut in front of me and didn't even apologize. I finally placed my order after 15 minutes and no one said "Thank you" or anything. That's poor customer service and I am not happy with my visit. That's unprofessional to not greet a customer, have them wait without saying anything, and to let someone else cut in front of them and order. I don't plan or visiting that Smoothie King again because I felt ignored and unwanted. I felt like my time was wasted and it wasn't even worth it. I'm disappointed in the lack of customer service and the employees should be trained on providing good, quality service to...
Read moreUpdate 6/18 - I don’t know who made this smoothie for my birthday but it was EXCELLENT! This is what I’m accustomed to! So I’m upgrading from 1 star to 3. Now let’s get Consistent!!
Update 6/12 - the smoothies have gotten better BUT (and I doubt they read this) when you over ice the smoothie so it won’t blend, add more water IS DUMB! You’ve essentially doubled and tripled the water so much so the smoothie has NO FLAVOR! I didn’t order semisweet water. Yall charge too much for this!!!! I’m not even an employee but this ain’t rocket science.
Irritated as hell! I go to Smoothie King 4/5 times a week - no exaggeration. I’ve done this consistently for over 4 years!! And I literally get THE SAME smoothie every time. I know exactly how it should be made. Today I spent my $11 on a 32 ounce smoothie only to get there and it’s disgusting. They had a long line so they rushed and left some ingredient out. So of course they remake and I watch carefully because I know the 6 ingredients. The man does everything right but leaves out the chocolate so I told him and he adds the chocolate. Now it’s time for the ice…the instructions clearly state a medium cup of ice and a small cup of ice. He grabs the large cup of ice and fills it really high, so at this point I’m thinking ok he won’t do the small too. WRONG! He fills up the small cup Too! It’s so much freaking ice that it wouldn’t even blend. Smoothie King TRAIN your people to follow the instructions exactly as they are. You can’t over ice then add milk the consistency is thrown off like this. Another $11 wasted as this smoothie tastes like sweet water 😡😡😡😡 you can see some of the chunks of dates in the smoothie because it’s not fully blended. The ONLY reason I didn’t have him make it a third time is because they were so busy. I’m going to have to find a new location because I can’t keep wasting time and money because the staff don’t follow the...
Read moreI drove up to the drive-thru menu and sat there for 5 minutes before finally calling out "Hello?". The person asked what I wanted and I gave my order. He said he couldn't hear me and would take my order at the window. Okay cool. The line wasn't moving at all so after about 10 more minutes I tried to ask for an update. No response on the speaker, and since the line hadn't moved at all I went inside to ask if they could hear me. They said that the battery died and they'd have to change headsets/battery. So I went back out to my car (at this point another car was behind me and I couldn't back out if I wanted to). The line was still not moving at all... for another 10+ minutes. At this point other drivers were asking me what the hold-up was for. Still not moving, I went back inside and asked what was taking so long (very important point: I did NOT raise my voice, yell, or swear). The manager got super defensive, saying she was the only one there training the new guy at the drive-thru. Frustrating, but understandable; I went back to my car. When I finally got up to the window, the new trainee said "My manager says that since you think it's taking too long, you can just go". I said "Okay, I'll write to your corporate office and tell them that you refused me service." To which he said "She says that's fine". I've never been denied service for simply (and calmly) asking what was taking me 25 minutes to go through a drive-thru which was almost empty when...
