Probably the worst sonic I've ever been to. Last 3 trips have been a nightmare. I order in the app. Have to yell because girl on the speaker keeps saying she can't hear me. I explain I made an order in the app for Josh and I checked and input the stall number. She keeps saying she doesn't see an order for Josh on her list and there's nothing she can do. I try to explain I've already paid. I'm not just leaving. After 10 mins of back and forth, most of that her saying she can't hear me, she says "oh, I have an order for Joshua." It took her 10 mins to figure out Joshua is the full form of Josh.
I finally got my order 30 mins after it showed I pulled in and checked in. Next day I go again and same thing... Girl can't hear me. Doesn't see an order so there's nothing she can do. Again, I guess she expects me to pay $13 and just go home without my food? Finally after approx 20 mins of back and forth, young guy comes out, walking as slow as a human can walk. Hands mean drink, says nothing, then walls away. I think... Maybe my food isn't ready? So I wait. 15 mins later, I'm thinking there's no way it takes 35 mins to cook 2 chili dogs. I hit the button again... and after maybe 7 mins or so of having to explain I had an order in the app (how did they forget this soon?!) and yelling as the girl kept saying, "I'm sorry I can't hear you)...I explain my food was never brought out. I wait maybe 5 mins and they finally bring it out. It's 103 degrees this whole time so it's a nightmare.
I go again today, order in the app. Pull up to the only stall open and the screen is showing a Windows error. I'm not able to see what stall I'm in (it shows on the screen) in order to check in on the app. So I guy the red button .I sit there for over 10 mins, no one ever replies.
I pull out and there's a different stall open. I finally am able to check in as this screen works and it tells me the stall number of the screen. 10 mins later or so my food finally comes out.
This place is just a nightmare with terribly slow service and employees who have no idea what they're doing. Not very well trained, it's pretty obvious. I remember now why I never go to Sonic, as this is the only one close and it's always a nightmare going here. This whole area is weird for fast food, not the nicest area ever, and all of the places are run by the most under trained people ever. Raising Canes and salad and go, all on the same road here close by, are the only exceptions really to the terrible service in this area. But sonic pushed the awful service to a new level over here. It's a shame, because I've been going to Sonic for 20 years+ and my experience has been super at every other location (mostly in Indiana and Kentucky.)
Definitely need to fix their screens, fix the speakers, and train the staff better. Too many choices to make this level of...
Read moreVery rude staff ! We had an online pick up order and we let them know we were there to pick up. The screen said the food was on the way and our order would be out soon. Then the screen goes back to the regular order menu as if our order had been cancelled with nothing delivered yet. So we were wondering if our order was still going to come out or not because it said it was on the way but then went back to regular screen. Well when we buzzed in the button to ask, we started our sentence with “hi we had ordered online and “ then we got cut off by the man who answered who said “ yeah it’s going out!”. He cut us off not even getting to finish our sentence. At this point we were already there for 20 mins. After that guy said that we waited another 15mins for our order! And it’s seems like this location is infamous for bringing out melted and watery shakes. Because once we got our shake and sundae they were both very watery like consistency as if they were sitting out for a while. When we were trying to buzz the manger at the order station to let them know our food was melted and try to get a replacement, you can hear the speaker turn on as if they would answer but then it would go silent. So they were avoiding us. Do not go to this location ! If you want to wait forever for your food to come out and it not be fresh or it be melted then go here. Also if you like to deal with people who seem like they don’t want to be there and are unprofessional then this sonic location is gots you. I'm thoroughly disappointed for a second time in less than a week. 😕. I live in walking distance, it was so nice out yesterday, we walked for slushies. We get there, order and watch cars come and go for about 20/25mins before we catch an employee on her way back in from taking an order to someone's car to ask her about our drinks. She goes in , asks, and then attempts to get the order from us again because they didn't input it the first time. I simply said, "you know what, no thank you darlin we're just going to go". Ugh but I was so pissed and sad bc the whole purpose was the Slushie. So we tried again today. We thought OK maybe if we drive there the outcome will be better. BUT THEY GOT ME AGAIN! all I ordered was a STRAWBERRY LIMEADE SLUSH. I'm pretty sure what I have in my hands is a lime slush. All slushies are yummy, but a) this isn't what I ordered b) it's not what I paid for bc I was still charged for a fresh fruit slush.
Pfffft. All that to say. DONT DO IT! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!...
