We had a fantastic experience at Urbano for Valentine's Day. The food was great, and our server Johnny was amazing. Very affable and helpful. Here's what we got: App: - Cioppino: Fantastique! Entrees: - Lobster risotto: undeniable best lobster risotto I've had in my life! The risotto was cooked perfectly and paired exceptionally well with the lobster. There was even a citrusy taste to the meal that was simply *chef's kiss*. At the time of the review, this wasn't part of the regular menu. It was on the Valentine's Day menu. Hopefully this item makes it to their permanent menu as well! - DUCK & PEPPERS Agradolce: the duck was prepared well and actually tasted akin to a good piece of steak! Which was interesting because duck usually tastes closer to chicken Sides: - GNOCCHI ALLA "MAC & CHEESE": If you don't like really cheesy stuff, I wouldn't recommend. My wife enjoyed this and it was also highly recommended by our server - BROCCOLI RABE & GARLIC: meh. Would try something else. Dessert: - Tiramisu: Would not recommend. The risotto was the best I'd ever had, but this tiramisu definitely wasn't. The coffee flavor was far too potent. The restaurant was quaint and very much what you'd consider a hidden gem. The atmosphere, along with the risotto and our server made this a splendid experience. Had it not been for the sides and dessert, this place would undoubtedly received 5 stars.

Urbano Cafe is a special place. We’ve been a couple times over the past month, and the food and staff are consistently fantastic. Kevan, Kelso, and Courtney have been great about making recommendations on the menu and giving insight on dishes to try. The pacing of the meal is fantastic, which is something very hard to find these days. It’s very clear they pay attention to the details of each table. Wine list is thoughtful and very well priced. The entire staff is genuinely kind and welcoming to everyone. The ambiance is truly a vibe in the evening - love all the candles. It’s a lovely restaurant to take your time and enjoy the various courses (and wine!). Every time we leave, we are excited to come back. 💙

Went there for breakfast Saturday the place was a little busy, they only have one person on the floor sitting incoming people, taking orders and serving. The first thing we ask for is coffee and water. Waited for awhile and thought about walking out. I talk my friend into giving her a chance and convince him to wait. Our coffee arrive almost the same time as our breakfast, we ask for our coffee and water about the third time. Breakfast was midlly warm and we never got our water. Left the place very disappointed. I'm sorry for the waitress I know its not her fault. I used to love that place.

We came for the first time during Restaurant Week and were blown away at how good it was. For starters our group had the raviolis and the gazpacho, both of which were very good. The raviolis were sinfully tasty in a creamy mushroom sauce that was just outstanding. For our mains, each of us had something different: the pecan crusted redfish, the duck, the veal bolognese and the risotto. Each of us were amazed at how well the dishes were executed, perfectly seasoned, nice accompaniments and the portion sizes were great! Plenty to eat without being stuffed!

The service here was outstanding. We interacted with several folks , from our server to food runners to the GM, all of which were at the top of their game. What we really appreciated about it (other than the amazing food) was how the service was so polished and professional but friendly, engaging, and not the least bit pretentious. We loved how the restaurant was small and casual with elevated food and service.

The only request we would have is to have bread served with the meals to soak up all these amazing sauces that were with our dishes.

We all were thrilled with Urbano Cafe and will definitely be back. ...

Ubano Cafe is such a fun and unique spot—it totally gives off speakeasy vibes with almost no signage out front. It’s BYOB, which added to the charm, and we loved the tucked-away, intimate atmosphere. We sat in the far room, which was lively and full of energy, setting the tone for a great night out.

Trish was our server and absolutely fantastic—warm, attentive, and full of excellent recommendations. We started with the bread and butter, which was pretty standard, but things quickly picked up from there.

The Caesar salad was a highlight: generously dressed with a great kick of parmesan—simple but done right. We also had the baked mezzi rigatoni, which was hearty and satisfying. But the real star was the veal scaloppini Marsala—tender, flavorful, and plated beautifully. Total standout.

Unfortunately, the night ended on a low note with the tiramisu. It was a “deconstructed” version that didn’t quite hit the mark for us—definitely a miss in an otherwise strong meal.

All in all, a memorable and fun dining experience with excellent service and a few standout dishes. We’ll definitely be back—just maybe skipping...
