Staples — Local services in Dallas

You come in to a business that o spend money and get results you stand on line and while you standing on line you see the poor customer service provided by the supervisor Name Frank at the copy and print department you are the only person on line and you waiting for that customer in front of you to get the job done but you see the confusion with the prior customer because they spoke Spanish and this gentleman was just so dismissive that I took it on me to help them while I was doing it two more people came he saw me on line and he just let them get in front of me and dismissed me as well I call him out on his bad customer service and later proceed to get 15 doble side resume copy’s which he refuse because the store was going to close. As I was about to leave I told him again this is just plain bad customer service he could’ve get the copy’s done but he use his authority over and did not do it so he says go speak to the manager as I did now a Guy name Salvador comes and talks to the men for nothing because while they where talking copies could’ve been done another 8 minutes no copy’s now this assistant manager tells me he can’t break protocol and I was just baffled by the fact this man had nothing else to do he just got upset because he was explaining self in Spanish he was just annoyed mind you he speaks Spanish now back to the customer service here is just terrible staples this one at lease I have always have good customer experience but now looking at the reviews I guess I was just lucky the times they did good customer service. I understand why this store is marked as one of the lowest stores for Staples. I am an Area Director of two restaurants and one is located in Dallas, the other one located in Fort Worth near downtown. And we are focus on customer service and accommodating customers and we sometimes miss the Mark and I understand that. But to not provide a service that you do to me is unacceptable. You are a print shop that helps businesses with their printouts and Print works. I needed 4 x 6 pronounce for table tents in my restaurant which I’ve done before in the past at this location. But I come in today and ask for that same thing and I would provide the paper and was refuse service. Online does not give the option to pick up. So I thought I would come in as I’ve done in the past provide the paper and received the printouts. But I was told no by the road, rolling eyes employee behind the print Shop area. Then the manager who is very nice allowed that same employee to sway his way of thinking, and the manager came back to me and said no after discussing it with the rude employee. It seem like the employee have more power than the manager. The manager left me after our first discussion in a manner in which I thought he was going to resolve the problem, but after discussing it with the gentleman that was rude with the long nails, he came back to me and refused that part of service. Went in April 2021 to purchase a laptop. I did so and left home, upon viewing my receipt saw that there was a $199 charge for a protection plan. I was never asked if I wanted to purchase a protection plan by the associate #1947894. I called the store and asked said associate why I was sold a protection plan I had not agreed to purchasing and was told by the associate #1947894 that I was obligated to buy said plan. Called back another day and asked another associate if it was true that I had to buy the plan and was told that I never had to buy the plan. Well it turns out the associate does not work there anymore or so they say. I tried calling corporate and was met by an operator who did not seem to understand what I was telling her and gave me the runaround. Be very cautious when buying things at this location because they hire dishonest people to work there. I am all for quotas but not at the expense of a trusting customer.
