I have never given a review on any place but oh boy do i have a review for this one. Worst service ever, managers can't even get the orders right. Iv'e only been in dallas for about 3 weeks and visited wendy's only 3 times. All these three times have been over some very simple mistakes. The first time I went I ordered 2 of the 4 for 4 deals and i went home only to realize they had not give me any nuggets. The second time i ordered a homestyle but immediatley said nevermind just give me the spicy chicken #6 meal. I paid double because the main cashier was too busy with i dont know what he was clearly not listening to me. Third time which was today 05/22/2017 I asked my sister to bring me a half size apple pecan salad with the full spicy patty instead of the grilled one, well the patty was super dry and there was no roasted pecans nor did i get the correct dressing i was given ranch, i guess i blame her for not checking the order correctly but still. 3 times they have messed up and im sorry for posting this review but if I could give 0 rating I would. I like wendy's but it just cant be managed by the people who work there. Ive worked at wendys but in laredo tx and believe me its a simple job nothing hard whatsoever, and I almost forgot to mention the strawberry lemonade is my favorite drink from there but it is not properly prepared. They are suppose to have lemonade in the front displayed and if a customer asks for a strawberry lemonade it should be prepared not have it ready in the front display. You are suppose to drop a bit of strawberry liquid into a cup and then fill it with lemonade. If i was working there I would show them how its all done. .... Read moreThe food and service was good. The main problem I have is the station they choose to put their tv on, Fox News. I complained to the manager on duty and he told me that it is the district manager's decision. I explained that having politically charged and slanted news is not good for business as it alienates 1/2 of your customers that want to vomit over the unfair coverage and should not be a news station in the first place. It should be an entertainment show. Conversely, I recommended the same about MSNBC. Truly fair and balanced news is found on CNN. If not news, play other things like sports or less controversial things that do not condone the horrible actions of the worst president we have ever had. This grievance is not about partisanship but about right and wrong. It is time that people stand up for what is right and wrong and be bold enough to stand up against their own party, when necessary and put country before political affiliation. Fox News has single handedly contributed to the divide of this country through lies and misrepresentation. A business that promotes this is making it worse. I will be back to followup to hopefully have good food and watch tv that does not go against our democracy!
Update: I went back to Wendy's a couple of weeks later and the food was good as usual. They had changed the channels of the tvs playing to ones that did not have slanted news coverage which was much appreciated! Now I feel encouraged to eat at a place that is inviting. Read moreNormally I don't complain about stuff like this but this is the third time this happens in the last month with the same employee and it's getting a little annoying.. I come to this Wendy's at least twice a week since I get off work late and I'm too lazy to cook.. The first thing the drive thru employee said was "gimme a second" (like two previous times).. "You're good no worries" I replied.. The second interaction was a little better where he started off with "welcome to Wendy's how may I take your order??".. So I ordered and when I ordered my drink I asked for a lemonade with easy ice and when I got my lemonade it seemed like he gave me extra ice (like two previous times with the same employee).. I'm not expecting Chick-fil-A service either and frankly I prefer Wendy's food over Chick-fil-A but the employee can be a little more respectful and attentive.. Overall the food is great and I will keep dealing with rude employees...
