I recently visited the Wendyâs drive-thru with my son and had an interesting experience. I noticed a sign by the ordering station that advertised a free 10-piece nugget when you download the app. I decided to give it a try and ordered a Biggie Bag for my son and a 10-piece nugget for myself. However, when I tried to apply the offer, it wasnât available in the app.
When I reached the window, I met Jose, who was kind and helpful. I explained the situation and asked to add another 10-piece nugget to make it a 20-piece total. Jose went above and beyond to help, even though it complicated the order. He removed the first 10-piece to scan my coupon, which then made the code invalid. At this point, a woman named Carla stepped in, and her attitude was very unprofessional. She seemed frustrated with the situation, saying things like, âWhat is she doing?â and âYouâve messed up the system.â I found her demeanor to be quite rude, especially for someone working in customer service.
Despite Carlaâs behavior, Jose remained calm and patient throughout the entire interaction. He was determined to fix the issue for me, showing great customer service skills. In the end, even though the coupon could no longer be used due to the system error, Jose made sure everything was taken care of properly and with a smile.
I was very disappointed in Carlaâs attitude, as customer service should always be a priority in food service. However, I want to sincerely commend Jose for his patience and professionalism.    Read moregood to see owner respond to review , just a week ago, to the last comment i just read. , therefore im considering making a order for a couple salads in hopes ill receive salads WITHOUT wilted or brown lettuce.Would be nice to get the freshest one's available , instead of being a counterpart in the oldest rotation process. Too bad there is not any guarantee to help boost my confidence in my decision to make this order or not.,especially after dozens of disappointments. UPDATE: Not long afterâmy previous reviewâi have had several or more salads(southwestern Grilled Chicken w-Guac&Bacon) and to my surprise each and every one has been super fresh excellent quality and could not be fresher or better. Absolutely perfect salads, not one little piece was wilted or turning brown. I am so appreciative and will continue to enjoy my salads from this Wendys daily. As I walk into the restaurant, there were no clients, the manager was eating at one of the tables, and four ladies were talking about personal stuff in the kitchen ,The lady with the headset passes in front of me as I stand waiting for someone to acknowledge my presence, goes to the âoneâ eating and talks a few minutes passes again behind the counter , not even a hi. I stood 8 minutes , totaly invisible in a â restaurant â with not one single patron, and no âWelcome to Wendysâ ! I Walked out to never walk in again, just too many breaks. Itâs a pity , as a client for 4 years , seen management come and go , just as their Service and Quality ... Unlike other stores in areas Iâve lived where employees jump to service you and provide juicy hbâs ALL the time.
