I’m not one to usually leave a review… but even after speaking to the manager, we still felt like there were issues with our service today.
We got there around 12:30 on a Thursday. A time that would usually be a little slow. The restaurant was mostly empty. There were a few sporadic tables but not many. Upon arrival, the host said “hey” “just 2?” And we said yes and he walked us over to the bar section. He laid the menus down on the table and said “here ya go” and then returned to the host stand and played on his phone. As a server/host, this wasn’t the best seating experience but by far not the worst. However, that was just the beginning of our experience.
We sat down and waited for our server to greet us. It was about 10 minutes later when she greeted us and asked for our drinks. She brought our drinks and then about another 10 minutes later brought the bread and asked for our food order. We ordered potato skins as an app and then two of the Logan plates. 10-15 minutes later, our food came out but we had yet to receive our potato skins. She laid down our food and did not make a comment about the potato skins, leading me to believe that she had forgotten to ring them up. She circled back and we asked about the app and she said “yeah they never put them up. Let me go check on that.” She went back into the kitchen and was gone for about 15 minutes and then came back with the app.
We went ahead and started eating our entrees while waiting for the app to come out. The food was awful. And I say that with a heavy heart. I understand that things happen. There have been times where I’ve had to serve subpar food quality due to various reasons… but this was worse than bad. I ordered my steak medium and my mom ordered hers medium well. When they arrived, mine said medium and hers said medium rare. To keep from making it a big deal, we just swapped steaks. But after cutting into them, we realized they had no color at all and appeared to be precooked and then put on the grill to bring it up to temperature. The seasoning was so subtle that there was no flavor on the steak. We even asked about this with the manager and he agreed that they looked gray and under seasoned. Since we had been there so long, we decided to forgo the option of getting a new steak. The sides were great! My broccoli was well cooked and seasoned and my mom’s sweet potato was great!
The manager came half way through us eating to deliver the potato skins. He noticed our distain for our steaks and offered to take our appetizer off. This was something that was already discussed prior when the app was forgot about. He walked away before we had the chance to comment about the free app.
Once we received the bill, we noticed there was a promotion for $8.99 taken off. The potato skins were $9.99 so I assume that was what was taken off but it wasn’t even the right amount discounted. We waited around for another 10-15 minutes to have our server take our payment. She brought boxes and we decided just to take the steaks home and season them and grill them ourselves.
While we were eating, another table showed up. After waiting 15 minutes to be greeted, they left frustrated. The host was playing on his phone and even walked over and took a phone call in the bar section. The bartender/server (Aundrea I believe her name was?) was slow and seemed as though she did not want to be there. The manager had a mediocre attitude and also seemed as though he hated his job.
Overall, a bad experience. 10/10 would not...
Read moreI downloaded the App for Logan's and placed an order for over $100. I placed the order and was advised it would be ready in 30 minutes... Great, it takes about 20 minutes to get there from my home. I arrive 35 minutes after the order was placed, giving them an extra 5 minutes to have it prepared. I think I should mention I also included a 15% tip because it's HOT outside and I KNOW the folks preparing my meals have got to be burning up in the Kitchen. I appreciate their efforts. I arrive to an almost empty parking lot around 2:30 or so.i park in the designated Pick Up Area and call the number indicated on the Sign. A girl answers the phone and asks my name and what vehicle I am driving. She says when my order is completed she will bring it out to me...cool...I see very few customers entering or leaving. I wait in the sweltering heat, outside, on the hot asphalt for 20 minutes... I'm not dressed to actually go in because I didn't WANT to go in... I call the number AGAIN... a girl answers... I explain who I am and how long I have been WAITING. She tells me my food has been sitting for 30 minutes and I should have called them when I arrived!!! She brings my food out to my Jeep. I tell her I HAD CALLED IN when I arrived. She asked who I talked with. I have no damn IDEA. The girl didn't give me her name. The young girl apologizes and says no one TOLD her we were here and she is the only person that is to deliver the orders to the car. I know it's not her fault because it wasn't Her voice on the fone the first time I called. No need getting angry or rude with THIS poor girl because its not HER fault. My order is pretty large and I ask her if she is Positive my order is all there. She assured me it is because she checked it. Great. I drive home. Nope, the Steaks are missing all of the Bleu cheese, mushrooms, and butter we ordered. But they ARE on the Receipt. The same with TWO Desserts... Not in the huge bag, but on the Receipt.I order out for friends and Family a lot, but after paying for food I didn't get and a TIP they didn't EARN as well as waiting for over half an Hour for nothing, I will NEVER order from here or eat IN here again......
Read moreDisgusted. Honestly I've eaten here twice wasn't to impressed the first time coworker forced me the second time . Food was just as horrible as the first time possibly worse . Steak there really isn't quality got filet first time looked like a sirlion tasted like one and second time got the so called logan the cut was so poorly executed look like round roast not appetizing I've got a better cut of steak from a steak egg and cheese from the golden arches in half the time . I wouldn't feed my dog what I was served. Management is a joke . Buying the food I didn't eat wasn't a satifaction for me by any means I left out of there disgusted and not hungry that's for sure its defiantly not a way to win your customers over nor have them return . They wanna eat good quality food . Like what you advertise in your menus and commercials. Atleast close to it . This place is a total joke . Server was ok . Kinda felt bad for them all honestly seeing how the manager talks to them was very unprofessional as well I caught ear at kitchen entrance a manager rudely neglecting server and talking to her like trash over asking for help with an issue he literally nudge aggressively aside her into the kitchen and said I'm busy I don't have time didn't give hrr time to finish talking . Someone could have been choking on one of your nasty reused peanuts off tables from the day before . Ya that's right they dump the peanut buckets from off all the tables and reserve them to you . Another stomach turning issue usually throughout the day I'm sure people notice shells from people licking and eating them to request new buckets but what yall don't know is logans strips you of even having that right by serving up what's left in those buckets the night before the very next day filthy and unsanitary. . Word gets around in town fast I suggest hiring better staff as in grill and management bc so many people are getting disappointed in your shot out roadhouse you call an establishment I call it a freak show circus good day...
