Ok well let me start off by saying, pictures will not do this place justice, nor will talking about it. You need to experience it for yourself. As someone who travels often looking for places to eat this place does not miss! I ordered 2 different plates and a drink and all i can say is, Delicious! 1st plate was a pork belly with over easy egg, artichoke, and potatoes wedges. Pork belly was melting in my mouth at how good it was! The egg on top made runny was perfect with the artichoke because it literally had me in a chokehold(in a good way) lol... (and mind you, im not big on artichoke) the sauce from the pork belly and runny egg was good for the wedges and 😩 my goodness. I can speak only good of the next plate.
The second plate i ordered was a chicken and waffle plate, and when I tell you it was good, I mean it. The chicken was tender, juicy, crispy on the outside, and flavorful. I decided to pour the honey over both the chicken. And the waffle and I'm glad I did! Just made it that much better. The fruit around the plate was all crisp, sweet, and very meticulously placed around the platter. Not one sour blueberry or badly flavored orange. To top it all off my drink order was a lavender lemonade, and mind you the chicken and waffle was sweet so you would think to yourself, I won't be able to taste the lemonade after eating something sweet? WRONG. the drink is very beautifully made and tastes just as wonderful. If there's one thing I could think of in terms of improvement it would probably be the lavender in the lemonade wasn't strong, but aside from that I had no problem drinking it nor eating anything on my plates. I will definitely make sure to come back...
Read moreSaw this place on our afternoon walk today with our dog. Excitedly saw the menu and decided to come back for dinner few hours later.
Loved the interior, decor and menu. Definitely is an upscale Thai-fusion restaurant with SF prices but the food was fantastic. We got:
E-Sarn Chicken Wings: 5/5 so good. Asian style wings. Wings were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Came with a tamarind dipping sauce that wasn’t too sweet
Papaya Salad: 5/5 deliciously pungent - IYKYK. Loved that they put their own twist on it and added sliced kumquats
Roti / Mussaman Curry w/ Beef Chuck: 4/5 Roti was decadently flaky but a little oily. Paired well with the curry. The beef was very tender. The caramelized shallots were tender and sweet. The curry itself was a bit too sweet when paired with the caramelized shallots and roti though. Still a solid dish
Thai Iced Coffee: 4.5/5 your standard delicious Thai iced coffee
Overall - really excited to have a new, modern restaurant in the area with great food. They’ve only been open a few weeks so are likely still working out the kinks in flavors and service. We’ll definitely come back to try the rest of the menu and would gladly take friends and family here when they visit.
Tips: ask for chopsticks (I can’t eat papaya salad with a fork lol), ask for a carafe of water (they have amazing duralex water glasses but they are small and will need to be...
Read moreFirst visit to this restaurant. Looks like it is pretty new. There are plenty of tables available when we arrive. They serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. The menu is different for breakfast, brunch/lunch, and dinner. It serves somilar to son & garden, but this one is mixed Thai and american dishes. For dinner, most dishes are Thai dishes. We ordered corn fritter for appetizer. The fritter is crispy, and it comes with some white sauce. It's pretty good, but not that special. For the main course, we ordered Tom Yum Soup hotpot (coconut milk based), which is a Tom yam goong. It is served using the traditional hotpot pot. It is sweet and salty but more on the sweet side. It is seafood soup. The coconut milk is not that strong, which makes it on the light side. It comes with jasmine rice. The second dish is fried chicken fried rice. It is crispy fried chicken on top of fried rice. The portion of the fried rice is generous. The chicken is not dry. If you add pineapple, the fried rice will become pineapple fried rice. 😋 it is good Next is claypot glass noodle (V). I like this the most. It is so yummy. It comes with tofu and mushroom. The last main course is chicken larb salad. This is my least like. The chicken is a vit dry. For dessert, we ordered sticky rice with black beans stuffed with banana. This us yummy and not too sweet. It's was yummy dinner. Service is just ok. Find parking will be...
