I am a stickler for customer service and this place does not disappoint. I’m so sad that I don’t know anyone’s names. But, it really doesn’t matter that much because whoever runs this restaurant did an excellent job hiring! My daughter and I eat here a couple of times a week. We are Vegan. But, I also order quite frequently for my son who is a carnivore. The food preparers are ALWAYS hygienic, to the point of correcting each other if need be. If you have a food allergy or are Vegan, they are very attentive to that fact and don’t mind if you ask them to switch out their gloves, bring out fresh sauce (sometimes cheese may fall in) or make additions once your pizza has finished. I really like this team and the leadership! Because we eat here so often, I’ve experience all kinds of stuff. I have lost my credit card in the store. They found it and kept it for me until I returned. I have accidentally punched in a $50 tip rather than $5 and didn’t realize it until days later. They took care of it quickly and without any attitude or drama whatsoever! I’ve even seen them deal graciously with the most impossible people ever!!! Literally, I’ve seen the most ridiculous customers be lulled gently through their order! The people who work here are eclectic, diverse and kind. They are a direct reflection of the community and I love it! This team has it together! I very much appreciate the great care and respect they give to alternate diets! Thank you for the dairy-free...

This place used to be really good when our family would go to shop around Serramonte, but something has happened in the last year and it’s inedible now.

We ordered a pizza and Greek salad and the salad came out like a salad you’d get from a gas station that was made a week ago. The lettuce was wilted to the point of being slimy. We asked them if we could get something else and we settled on a Caesar salad and it was just as bad. Lettuce must’ve been frozen at some point and the tomatoes were soggy and disgusting. The best part of the salad was the pre made croutons.

Service used to be really good as well, but now it’s run by what seems like high schoolers who have no leader in the building to help them. Every question is met with a puzzled look and scrambling to get someone to help them. Also, one guy looked like he just got out of basketball practice and went to work. Was behind making pizzas in shorts and shower slides, which I’m sure is...

Today I tried MOD Pizza for the first time. I have seen it countless times going into the mall and was curious about it. My first impression was a bit sketchy at first because I hate thin crust pizza and I am the most pickiest person when it comes to food but I must say it was absolutely delicious and different. I really really enjoyed picking my own toppings. I choose the meat lover's choice which had pepperoni, sausage, ground beef and add whole bunch of other stuff to it. The service was great fast and friendly they welcomed us and said goodbye and hope to see you again soon. I was so blown away about the service especially now of days people are just not as pleasant when dinning out. I will definitely be back and recommend to friends it's worth the money very responsible price and I forgot to mention the bathroom's were absolutely clean that's #1 in my books it speaks volumes of a restaurant wonderful job team keep up...

Has the experience of this place gone down? I haven’t been to this branch in about two years, but yesterday when I went, I was shocked by how poorly run the shop felt. There didn’t seem to be enough staff on hand to keep up with demand, resulting in a long queue. Many of the ingredients were empty and needed to be refilled. What remained of the chickpeas were still frozen and inedible. The roasted broccoli was left on the counter instead of in the refrigerated section. The floor behind the counter was a mess. And the pizza came out partially burnt after being left in the oven too long. I still really enjoy Mod Pizza and especially appreciate that they have dairy free cheese now that I can’t have dairy. And all of the staff were friendly. But I was disappointed in how slow the service was and how much cleanliness and food quality standards felt like they were lacking.

Mod Pizza's slogan is, Any Toppings, One Price. This restaurant reminds me of Subway Sandwiches. You tell the pizza line chef what toppings you want and they add it in front of you. Then it takes about 10 minutes for them to cook it in the pizza oven. We got the mega dough size $13.29 one because of the slightly thicker dough with beef, bell pepper, garlic, mushrooms, onions, pepperoni, sausage and tomatoes. Their pizzas kind of taste like Mountain Mike's or Round Tables. We also got garlic bread $7.19 and a Lucy Sunshine $11.29 Mozzarella, parmesan, garlic and artichokes. Both tasted fine. Good job staff at Mod Pizza.
