i’m guessing this place is, or will soon be known for their roast beef 3 way pizza. i asked for the beef cooked well done but it was still really tender and delicious. i mean it was fantastic roast beef, and that’s the most important thing. i thought the ratio of ingredients were spot on.enough of everything without being too heavy, and they didn’t skimp on the beef. $17 after tax for a small but i’m a good sized dude and had 4 slices, and will save 2 for lunch tomorrow so i feel like the price is fair. the girls at the counter were great. the inside is welcoming. it’s not huge but they did a lot with the space and you’d feel comfortable dining in. had the chicken kabob salad since. the feta is the best quality in danvers i’ve had in a long time. most places serve that dry crumbly stuff that could almost pass for mozzarella. johnnies has the real deal. the chicken is good quality too… well marinated, generous portion, cooked perfectly.

Heard a lot of recent chatter about the Gluten Free options here, so decided to give it a try! I order the GF chicken parm sub, and knowing that GF versions of my old favorites (before Celiac) may not live up to expectations, I was actually really impressed overall! Bread and chicken cutlet had a 'real' flavor to it, and I actually really enjoyed! Also tried the pizza, which I thought had an excellent crust, buy my Celiac daughter thought it was a bit too crispy. Great overall experience, and will try more options!

I Highly recommend Johnnies! The restaurant is very clean; staff are very friendly and attentive to customers. The food is priced competitively in comparison to similar restaurants in the area and is delicious. Many gluten free options available and all of the gluten free food is marked with a sticker to limit chances of cross-contamination. I recommend trying the roast beef sandwich, I will absolutely be returning here!

My order was completely wrong AND completely inedible for me. My husband ordered me the Veggie Power Bowl, which looked like something that would be right up my alley. We specified NO balsamic glaze in the order (I can't stand balsamic). When my husband came home with the order, my Bowl had several issues. First - there were no tomatoes (which is listed in the Bowl ingredients oni the menu). Second, the avocado was NOT fresh. At all. Third, half of the Bowl was covered in onions and peppers..... both of which I am allergic to, and both of which are NOT listed in the Bowl ingredients in the menu (otherwise I wouldn't have ordered this dish in the first place). Fourth.....everything was covered in balsamic glaze, despite us specifying we did not want that. What a huge disappointment and a complete waste of FIFTEEN DOLLARS for a dish I could not eat. Errors are one thing - but they should know better than to include other extra ingredients that people may have allergies or sensitivies to without informing the...

As a DHS grad, our go-to roast beef spot just isn’t the same since changing hands, so we were on the hunt for a new favorite. Enter Johnnie’s Roast Beef—and let me tell you, we found a WINNER!

Their sandwiches are absolutely packed with tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked roast beef. Add some cheese and a generous drizzle of James River BBQ sauce, and you’ve got roast beef perfection. The portions are more than generous, and the quality is top-notch.

If you're looking for the perfect roast beef sandwich done right, Johnnie’s is the place to go. This has been our new Tuesday night takeout for a few months now. Their food and service is consistent! Give it...
