Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Daphne

The past 2 months the service at this location has been terrible. I'm not usually one to complain, but the employees- whether short staffed or not, are not very consumer friendly. My absolute last visit for a very long while was today. Once again all stalls were closed, which has become the norm lately, tho 8 cars were in the parking lot. Drive thru had only 2 cars in line so service should have been timely and courteous, to say the least. I work with the public everyday, I am nurse as I understand what it's like to work short staffed, which I had assumed was the reason for the stalls being closed again but not today, I saw 5 workers, so service at the druve thru window should not have been as slow nor as bad as it was or has been. I utilized the app to place an order and proceeded to the store for pickup. However, upon arrival, the store couldn't locate my order. Despite showing them the confirmation on the app, the manager was called and declined to provide the order. When I requested a refund, they directed me to call a hotline, which also couldn't process the refund. After calling the store again to speak with the manager, I discovered that my order should have been provided to me, despite her instructing the staff otherwise. I overall like this place and food is good and have great deals. The only thing I wish is that would hire some better people..some of there employees dress terrible to work and a good dresser or knowing how to dress to work goes a long way impressions do show who is hiring and how upper management is and says a lot about the company overall. Just. Saying. Sometimes they mess up orders but if they do they are great at fixing it and giving you some free drink tokens for it.
