Barrel Hpuse was a great place to eat. We went there to meet up and have munch with family members. The staff was great and very friendly. The food was very satisfying.

For our appetizers, we had the fried pickles and The Spicy Cheese Curds. These were a geray way to start the meal. The pickles had a crunch batter and a good flavor. They came with a ranch dip that infound was not needed if you did not want it. The pickles were good on their own. The Spicy Curds were very good and had a good level of spice to them that did not drown out the flavor of the cheese. They were also not greasy. They came with a dipping sauce as well. I found that they actually tasted better without the sauce as it made them a little too sweet for me.

For the actually lunch I come the Mac Attack burger with added cheese. This came with fries that I up graded to the truffle fries. The burger was good over all. The macaroni and cheese that was on the burger was creamy and had a good flavor of its own that did not take away from the taste of the burger itself. The only improvement I would make is to make the Mac more of a slab or slice of Mac the was cooked and crisped before being put on the burger. The burger patty was juice and flavorful with a soft warm bun.

For dessert was had an order of the fried cheese cake. This was a wonderful part of the meal. The order came with two pieces. One was drizzled with a red sauce that was either raspberry or strawberry. The other had a chocolate drizzle on it. The chocolate one was the better of the two, thought both were very good tasting.
