Davie's Best Pizza Bar — Restaurant in Davie

I am actually writing this review and respond to lili031202 One star review on here. If you hit newest he’s 4 down from this one. You see it was my birthday party that he CRASHED. Yes I said crash because it was 11 o’clock when he came to the restaurant that I rented out. I have time stamped pictures of setting up to prove when my party was. They close at 10. So he didn’t close early he came a whole hour later than closing time. He immediately walked up to me who is 5’1 and I was wearing an Alice in wonderland dress. He started yelling at me that somebody hung up on him and I said Politely multiple times that I’m sorry they close at 10 and I’ve rented out this space for a private party. It is true that people eventually started cursing at him but that was only after he continued to get in my face no matter how many times I backed up from him. He was very threatening in his behavior to the point that my boyfriend had to get involved. I then had to ask the manager to handle the situation, and yes I was allowing the staff to join in my party since they were there to accommodate me and lock up. Again they had been closed for a hour. This man RUINED my 40th birthday party. His threatening behavior was pretty early in the night and ruined my mood. I’ll never get that back. He was a STRAIGHT UP KAREN WHO RUINED MY BIRTHDAY WITH HIS ENTITLEMENT. He was wearing scrubs. I feel sorry for any of this man’s patients. I have been going to Davie's Best ever since I started attending university in Davie. It has been 4 years now and this place is still my go-to pizza bar when I am craving a slice or two. The restaurant has a homey feel and this is evident when I see all the parents coming here with their children after school or teams coming after their little league games to celebrate with a hot pie of pizza.

Though this is not the most upscale restaurant, it is clean and maintained by friendly and attentive staff. I think I have seen the same people working in the front since I started visiting and they have always been nothing but kind. They have large tables for big parties and can seat indoors and outdoors but I mostly see people choosing to sit inside to avoid the heat.

My order is always their two cheese and a coke for $6.99 and let me tell you - their slices are very big. Sometimes, I get full off of just one slice but the deal is too good to pass up on.

If you are looking for more than just a cheese slice, they have a full italian menu with salads, pastas, sandwiches, pizzas, and desserts. I have also tried their eggplant parm and fried ravioli, both of which are decent.

If you have not been here, definitely give it a try. I can't wait for...

They truly do have amazing pizza but they do not stick to their hours. If its an hour and a half before close, no one will bother answering the phone. This has happened multiple times. I am on the search for a better pizza in the area since they are too inconsistent and have gotten too expensive to bother dealing with this consistent issue. I have heard Stoners pizza is good so I will give them a go. I also ordered through their website and no one bothered to call to inform me I wouldn't be getting pizza from them. They didn't even bother calling the next day to apologize for the inconvenience. Sitting around for over an hour is a waste of time. I could have gotten food elsewhere during that time. They just don't care about their customers. It's sad.

Update: I figured I would try again because they do have good pizza. Its 4 30pm on a Wednesday and nobody is picking up the phone. Maybe they are closed down, since I haven't been able to get anybody on the phone the last 2 times I have called. Next time I drive by I will have to check it out. Weirdest and worst business practices if...
