I was so excited to come try this location because it is not as congested as the North Side of University. I arrived and was taken care of immediately which was good! However, when I went to go sit down the table and chairs were filthy. I am not usually a picky person but it was that bad and the reason why I feel the need to write a long review and further explain. I then went to ask one person for help whom told me to wait and never came back without me even telling them what I needed. ( Mind you there is no one in the drive thru or the line inside at this time) not sure what could be more important than a customer but I thought ok and said nothing. I then asked the girl that helped me make my purchase and she said she would be right with me. I got so tired of waiting and went outside to work and enjoy my tea. Due to the sun I could not see out there so decided to come back in. Once I did the gal that said she would help, had just finished cleaning the table but it was done so quickly that it was not cleaned properly at all. I had to grab my hand sanitizer and some napkins and wipe it down thoroughly myself. Once I sat down the table was wabbling (of course lol) I the customer felt bad bothering the employees after all that and I grabbed a bunch of napkins to place underneath the table so it would not wobble as much. The floor is so sticky when you walk it makes a noise. It desperately needs to be broomed and cleaned. Lastly, the employees seemed to have switched shifts and no one seemed to checked the floor tables, countertops, etc. I do not intend to get anyone in trouble but as an ex consultant in the hospitality industry. I clearly can tell that management is lacking here. It seems like no one is holding anyone accountable or putting any team effort into the place to keep it in good shape to attract more customers. The employees got the selling and serving job done but, the cleanliness of the place made me feel weird about consuming anything. It all made me a little skittish because if the front of the house is like that, it makes you wonder about the back of the house. I rarely write reviews but I felt it is necessary. You guys could be banking making money and employees could be thriving and maybe making nice tips! I hope it gets better and I can give it another try because the location is awesome, there's plenty of parking and Starbucks is overrated! But, maybe this is a good example why people...
Read moreI placed a mobile order and went through the drive thru to get it. This was my first time at the location. When I got my coffee, I thought the cup was kind of light. So, I opened it to look at it. All I saw was pure white foam. Once I tasted it, I realized it did not have any coffee in it. I was not upset because I know that mistakes happen, and that’s ok. So, I parked my car and went inside. As I was standing at the pick up counter, one of the staff members handed the young lady making the coffees a cup that looked like only cream and flavoring was in it. He asked “does this have any coffee?” She responded, “oh! I knew something looked different!”, and laughed. She then proceeded to add expresso to the drink. So, I got the young lady who was working the drive thru’s attention (she was very nice) and told her there was no coffee in my drink either. I said it nicely, and showed it to them. The young lady making the coffee quickly said, “There’s coffee in there.” Then she turned around and started completing another order. The young man looked at my drink, added some expresso to it and said, “there, that should be better.” I said thank you, took my drink and walked out. What I have a problem with is that sometimes, mistakes are made and we know it happens. But for the young lady to deny what I was saying, then turn around like I don’t exist, not even willing to fix her mistake….that’s a problem. If I were rude and acting crazy over a simple cup of coffee, that’s different. All I wanted was my coffee that i ordered and paid for. The service and willingness to assist customers, especially when YOU made a mistake, is super important. I know because I manage multiple stores....
Read moreI go to Dunkin Donuts everyday for the same order, a medium iced caramel coffee with Two Sugars three creams whip cream on top. Today, I went through the drive-thru and I asked for my order, she recommended liquid sugar instead, so I said ok I'll try it. It tasted horrible so I threw it out because I made the choice to try something different. Cool no problem! My fault.
I came back 30 minutes later and I asked for my order, it was made with liquid sugar. I parked I came inside and I specified my order to the T!! She gave it to me with no cream.
At this point, I'm over it. Dunkin Donuts I'm trying to figure out where the disconnect lies because for the most part my order has always been to my liking but for me to have to go there once come back again and then park and go inside is beyond me! I'm so aggravated because Dunkin Donuts coffee is one of those things that I have to have every day, but I don't want to have displeasurable visits like this due to not listening! I'm angry and just as bitter as this coffee because I can't get my Dunkin fix before I go out into the world and live. Now I have to go to another dunkin in the hopes that their ear and hand coordination matches my order! thank you so much Dunkin Donuts, thank you for nothing😑
Ps- I tried calling the store to speak with a manager instead of posting a comment, it rang straight through, so this...
