I've been patronizing this spot for many years. I go 1-2 times a week for pandebonos, bunuelos, pandeyuca, pan de queso, emapanadas, and they have my favorite Colombian black cake.... BUT no matter how good their product is their customer service is HORRIBLE.... the attitudes and the lack of basic courtesy to a customer is simply not acceptable. They treat customers as if they are doing the customers a favor by selling to them. There's no simple customer service etiquette towards the customer as in "good morning" "how can I help you" "thank you" "have a nice day" etc... none of this is their vocabulary.... it's simply "who is next" with a sour face. This morning this woman literally takes my money and leaves my bags where she packed them and tells me after I pay her "your bags are over there"...so now I have to ask all the customers to excuse me to get through so I can get to the other side of the counter to grab my bags because she couldn't simply hand them to me like a normal person behind a counter does. Then I get home and one of the things I ordered were 15 pandebonos and she packed them all in ONE small brown bag warm so now I have a a bag of flat dough. I call and ask to speak to the person in charge and it becomes an inquisition as to why I am asking to speak to a manager. They insist I tell them first the details of what my issue after I tell them its an issue regarding their service. After a back and forth exchange they tell me no one is there in charge on the weekends and the lady in charge has not been in for a week, so maybe "Wendy" will be in on Monday....So why continue to patronize a place who doesn't give a care about how they treat...

I’ve been a loyal customer for 4 years now. Their pastries are delicious and so is the food. However, ever since COVID things have changed, as has their service and food as well. Most recently, I went to buy some bread and they still required me to wear a mask even though local government has removed the mandate. Furthermore, while you are standing in line wearing your mask, there is people at the dinning in area not wearing it! Someone, please tell me what the difference is here. There is none, that’s why! Tried this place for the first time and honestly, probably the last. We got seated right away, which was nice, but from the moment we sat down, we felt rushed. It was a Sunday just before noon, and the place was almost full. Parking was easy though, since it’s in a plaza with plenty available spots. .Our waitress handed us the menus and immediately asked if we were ready to order… seriously? We had just sat down and even mentioned it was our first time there. She came back like five minutes later and asked again, so we felt pressured to order. Because of the rush, she misunderstood my order, I asked for cola de res en salsa, and she brought me sancocho de cola instead. She also didn’t mention that the small size of the sancocho doesn’t come with any sides, which would’ve been helpful to know.The food was a letdown too. The chicharrones had zero flavor, tasted like they just threw them in a pan without any seasoning at all. On top of that, the vibe from the staff was super cold. No one seemed happy to be there, and the customer service was just bad all around.We were really hoping for a better experience.
