SECOND CLASS CITIZENS, that's how the rude staff will make you feel. They practice FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, as we bought our entrance tickets on Eventbrite, for an Event on Friday 7/25/25. The ad mentioned tables available as first come, first served, and that event started at 8pm. So we were at the Rootop door at 8.20pn, and they honored our Eventbright tickets. Found several tables available, and otdered the drink included with our tickets at the bar. We sat at one of the tables. Very shortly a rude waitress xame to the table to put a RESERVED sign, when we were already seated. She said that we had to Leave at 9pm because they were going to charge a minimum consumption of $260 for our table. THIS WAS NOT MENTIONED IN THE AD PROMOTING THE EVENT. A waiter came afterwards with a rude attitude demanding the same, by then we had seen how they had done the same to EVERY SINGLE PARTY SEATING AT A TABLE. We were 4. They asked $260 to the couple in the table next to us, $400 minimum consumption to the party with 6 people on the other side. It was a show of clients feeling cheated , the looks on everyones faces were of surprise, ackwardness, uncomfortable, mistreatment. We were all there to have a good time and the staff and their management were ruining it for everyone who had a table. Closer to 9pm, and still in shock, one by one the ladies of every table decided to avoid the confrontation with the staff and leave the tables. We were all being asked, again and again, to stand by the bar area instead. We decided to stay at our table and ignore the rude demands to leave. It was a very uncomfortable situation, but we are over 50 and were not willing to play into any shenanigans. After lots of rude staff coming back to us, while they managed to get everyone else out of their tables, we stood on our ground, showed the online tickets, then the staff switched to blame the promoter. We asked them to take it with the promoter, EVENTBRITE, and by the time we had not only security guys around, and even the manager explaining that the tickets were not correct, us not moving, I typed FALSE ADVERTISEMENT on my phone and showed it to the manager. The waiter offered us to move to another table located in a corner, the further away from where the band would play, and the manager offered me a courtesy drink once he saw the False Advertisement in big fonts on my phone. Our party of 4 moved to that other table, after all , all we wanted was to enjoy the music and have a good time, even though the staff managed to leave a sour taste on our mouths. Those people (the staff) won't smile, won't treat you nice, and dropping a free drink on my table without an apology for the unpleasant moment didn't make up for all their rudeness and lack of customer service. The music was great, the place was packed, we stayed because we were there to celebrate Perú 's independence day and we were not going to let the staff completely ruin the night for us. We ordered food and more drinks from the bar, as the manager instructed the staff not to wait on our table. Needless to say, we have many great places to visit and enjoy in South Florida, so we won't be coming back to the Rooftop as we don't want to be treated in such a horrible...
Read moreThis spot could be SO amazing but currently it's not. This was my first time and it was for a friend's party. We arrived just after 8 pm. We had a dedicated waitress (1 at first but with a party of over 50+ we finally got 2). We ordered to simple drinks and requested to start a tab... she came back 10 minutes later with NO drinks but asking for my signature on an "authorization" which was b.s. because I already received a notification my card was charged $32 for my drinks. I didn't receive my first drink until 9:15. Imagine my extreme disappointment when it was ALL soda. Not a single ounce of liquor detected but I was so freaking thirsty I didn't complain. I downed it for $15 and waited patiently to order another. The next drink was better because it was bigger but still only soda. We went 4 rounds of this game but by then my friend had ordered bottle service so I was able to add a little vodka to my drinks but with 50+ people a few bottles did not go far. After 4 hours of "partying" nobody and I mean NOBODY had a buzz not even the birthday boy who only drinks once a year on his birthday, this leads me to believe that Rooftop is doing the old switcheroo with their liquor. Last comment concerning service/liquor was when our bill came it was the merchant copy to sign but I happened to lift it up and underneath was the itemized list of our drinks plus clear as day gratuity and a service charge added. That was NOT mentioned and here I was about to tip 20+% for blah service and drinks?!? I gave her a little extra because she did deal with a large party but seriously don't be sneaky about your policy!!!! Lastly, a band played for 4 hours. They were pretty good and catered to the mostly older crowd with 70s and 80s music (which I personally love). At midnight the place cleared out and a DJ came on which changed the vibe and the party had new life even with no alcohol. Again, the venue is beautiful but the service, lack of alcohol, and price point totally make this not...
Read moreDear Management,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent incident at your bar where I was denied a glass of water after consuming alcohol. This refusal left me feeling disappointed and concerned about the quality of service provided.
As a customer who had already spent a significant amount of money at your establishment, I believe it is reasonable to expect access to water, especially considering the importance of hydration and responsible alcohol consumption.
I kindly request that you review your policies regarding the provision of water to customers and ensure that such basic necessities are not withheld or monetized.
I hope for a prompt resolution to this matter and appreciate your attention to my...
