Sunrise Pita & Grill — Restaurant in Davie

Enjoyed the soft opening today of Sunrise Pita. We had a Mixed veggie salad lunch and a schwarma salad lunch. The owner gifted us with an order of falafel which were soft and yummy. The portions were large with your choice of many tasty sides including but not limited to hummous, tehina, babbaghanouj, spanish eggplant salad, schoug , tomato and onion salad and so many more.. The only thing I missed was olives....There were Israel pickles and peppers but no olives. Everything was fresh. The workers there were friendly and so accommodating. And if you are interested, it is Kosher. The only minus is that it's a bit pricey for the atmosphere and style of food; however, not priced out of the range for Kosher food. Enjoyable and fun. Will run out of tables as I am sure it is going to do well. It made me feel like I was in Israel all over again. Be sure to stop by for a filling and...

I walked in for the fist time. I ordered a shawarma sandwich and asked for extra meat where I was charged for. No big deal. The sandwich came in a pita here is the issue that honey behind the counter named Mike filled my sandwich with salad. Yes salad then add some meat on the top and present it to me. It seemed it was over loaded with meat. It was nothing but a scam …. I paid 24$ for a salad sandwich. I will never return again and I will post this on all social media platform. Do not support this place. What else do you expect from a place hires employees that hate military service members. Never again. Steer away ! There is few other places within 5 -8 min service real good same food and much cheaper and they actually give you what...

The customer service was decent, and the fries were throughly cooked. Had no seasoning, but was crispy like I like it. Otherwise, don’t come here. I ordered two lamb (cutlet) pitas. 1) They gave the littlest amount of meat, it seemed like we were eating a salad with bread instead. 2) The lamb was full of fat and it was saltyyy, we couldn’t even try to eat around it. 3) It tasted like dirty socks, I’m not even sure how that’s possible. 4) It was so poorly made, it made my mother throw up numerous times throughout the night and no she didn’t have anything else that would’ve turned her stomach. It was not worth the price at all for what you get and if I could’ve gotten our money back I would’ve because mine went straight...
