This has become one of worst Ulta locations in South Florida. I've shopped in Ultas all over the country while on business trips, but I used to shop in this location all the time as a Platinum rewards member. I even became friendly with one of the managers after helping them with a customer that was verbally abusing the staff over a coupon. However, if you're a minority I noticed in late 2022 that they automatically assumed that you're a shoplifter even though I spend a lot of money in this store. During a visit to this location in late January I was treated very rudely by their security guy at the front door who wouldn't let customers enter the store even though it was 15 minutes before their posted closing time. I asked him why I couldn't be allowed to enter and he told me they were closed, but it wasn't their official closing time. I was trying to ask if something had happened and they had to close early but he just rudely ignored me. However, he did freely speak to another woman, but she didn't understand why we couldn't enter either. The last straw of me ever shopping there again was when I asked for the manager to come to the door to speak with what was then 7 customers who wanted to quickly shop and it STILL wasn't their official closing time. This security guy not only ignored me but swung the door closed so hard he slammed my foot with the door and narrowly missed hitting my face! The other customers there gasped and were shocked at his behavior. I went to my car to look at my foot (thank goodness I had on my Jordan's or my foot would've been broken!) I then called the store and asked to speak to the manager. I explained what had happened and to her and she was very nonchalant about it which was very very disappointing. So I asked for the District or Regional Mgr's info which I only got a first name out of her. That's also not the correct way to resolve a customer service incident. A Store Manager must give their supervising manager's information. However, the worst part was the reason she used to justify the security guy in the front barring us from entering the store before their closing time was because...they were short-staffed. That's not a valid reason, I'm sorry. I also called Ulta customer service to report the issue and no one ever responded to me.    Read moreOn April 1st at around 6:00 PM, I visited the Ulta Beauty store at Tower Shops in Davie, FL, to pick up an online order, purchase a birthday gift, and find a suitable foundation and concealer. While looking for my shade, I asked for assistance, but multiple employees gave me dismissive looks. When one finally responded, she simply stated the shade was unavailable without offering any further help.
At checkout, I attempted to return the eyebrow pencil from my pickup order, but the cashier told me the system required 24 hours to process returns. I explained that I live far away and could not return the next day. I requested a manager, but the employee initially walked away without following up. After waiting, the manager, Jessica, arrived but was dismissive and unhelpful. She refused to process my return, ignored my concerns, and instructed another employee to assist another customer instead of addressing the issue.
Frustrated by the lack of professionalism, I expressed my dissatisfaction. Rather than de-escalating the situation, Jessica called the police despite my calm demeanor. She also initially withheld my eyebrow pencil, refusing to acknowledge where it was until I demanded it back.
I believe this behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed in how Ulta handled the situation and expect accountability. No customer should be treated with such disregard simply for raising valid concerns. I am requesting that Ulta investigate this matter and take...
   Read moreI have two reviews: One I have a review for Mimi- she did my makeup for my baby shower this past weekend. I wasnât honest and itâs my fault but i was so unhappy with it. It was not even close to the image I showed and it was A LOT of eyeliner and mascara. Way too much for a lunch time baby shower. She was very nice and I was trying to hold the rest of my morning together so I paid and didnât say I was unhappy.
Second review is for a Cindy: I have no idea if she would have done a good job because she didnât end up doing my hair. I scheduled this appointment for 11:30 over a month before my baby shower. I was not âsqueezed inâ as she was trying to tell everyone. I waited 12 mins after my makeup was done and she finally came out from the shampoo area with her current client. She then let me know she needed to blowdry her client and she would be about another 20 mins more. Unfortunately I had a scheduled event and could not wait another possible 30 mins to get started so I paid for my makeup and left to do it myself at home. Iâm a licensed stylist who wanted to finally have someone else do her hair and it was not how that went. For Cindy to try and say I was squeezed in and try to get someone to rush and do my curls was extremely rude. No apology, no accountability, nothing. It was the icing on the cake to my not so well morning.
