I love Costco and have been a proud member for 20 years. Sadly, this has got to be one of their worst locations by far. Not only is parking horrible, it is a mission to get gas from here. They force you to go around the entire Costco and go up the highway to enter the line, instead of also allowing cars from the street lane. After shopping at Costco for groceries I tried to get gas and found myself in the street right behind the location that leads right into the station, as I allowed several cars that were in the other line pass through, I then made my way into the entrance gently, out of nowhere an angry old man sped up and went over the cement street barrier and narrowly hit my car to try and not allow me in. I then did my best to call over the station staff to de-escalate the situation and deal with the aggressive driver, they suddenly turned on me without knowingly what had occurred and ordered me to leave. It was pouring by the way. When I tried to ask what was going on they just kept yelling that I had to leave and moved cones in front of my car, then allowing cars behind me to go around while the angry old guy kept blocking me in from the side as if he was the Costco owner. Unfortunately, the two staff members were not reasonable and did not want to speak when I kept asking what was going on. After several minutes I tried going around the moved cones as did many cars behind me when suddenly a staff member jumped in front of my car and tried to claim I wanted to run him over, even though he launched at my car to prevent me from entering the gas station and my car never even touched him. While I then asked to speak to a Manager they just kept yelling back at me that they know who I am and had seen me before in a threatening fashion. Of course they had seen me, I’ve gotten gas there plenty of times and never had any issues. After not wanting to have a civil conversation and just allowing me to get gas, they kept putting a radio to my face and inside my car, I guess to have the manager hear me keep on requesting a manager to speak to. To make matters worse, instead of simplifying the issues and finding a common solution, he seemed dumbfounded and said he had to take his staffs side and not allow me in. Finally I decided to leave as I extremely needed gas, was not able to get a reason as to the situation, the angry old man still kept blocking me in even though he had to go over the cement sidewalk to get in front, and the Manager and staff did not handle the situation professionally. Not only does the Costco need to have a better system to be able to get into the gas station and more signage, the manager and 2 staff members should be fired. Would much rather keep taking longer drives and enjoy the Costco in NMB or...

Read moreThe parking at this location is impossible. They desperately need to work on this. We usually have to drive around at least 10 minutes before we’re able to find a spot. I have witnessed 2 different occasions of road rage incidents, between shoppers trying to park there.
The line for gas is impossible, I have only been able to take advantage of the discount one time. Because every single time I try pumping gas, the line is going all the way back into dangerously fast incoming traffic on route 84.
The check out lines at the store are ridiculous, at least 15-20 minutes long. Employees are very ineffective. And when you are finally able to pay, you encounter yet another long line for an employee to painfully slowly check your receipt and every single item that you purchased.
The line for returns is also insane with only one or 2 employees max working on it, and a huge line that goes all the way to the outside of the store, where they make you wait in the heat while carrying your return items. After you finish the return they don’t let you access the store, they make you walk back outside through the same uncomfortable line. Which is ridiculous because they check your membership card in order to complete the return.
Leaving the parking lot is another big hassle. With tons of crazed cars trying to park as you leave, making it hard for you to do something as simple as loading up your groceries and leaving your spot. And they don’t have a traffic light to exit the store, which makes it very difficult to make a left through all the going and incoming traffic.
Coming to this Costco is a big stressful experience.
This location does not care about their customers, and shopping experience. The employees at the check out lines are always stressed and rude. And you will NEVER find an employee to help you with any items as you shop around the store.
The hot food area where they sell pizza, hotdogs etc. is actually even worse! The wait lines are at least 15-20 minutes long. The order screens are self service, and if you need any help the employees always sound and look overwhelmed and rude. The tables are also always full and very dirty, and so is the...
