This place is spectacular. We were visiting Daytona from California, and found this amazing restaurant. The price to quantity ratio is perfect. We ordered the Masala Dosa and the Aloo Gobi. I normally never eat dosa, but my mom ordered it so I tried it. First let me talk about the quantity. The dosa was bigger than the Plate. In California all the dosa is half the size of the plate and it’s a small plate. This one was massive, and for the price it’s perfect. It will fill you up no problem. It was also extremely delicious. The Aloo Gobi was also delicious and the quantity will definitely do the job. The staff was welcoming and kind. The manager, Sabi was extremely friendly and welcoming. She runs a tight shift. Her and all the other waiters came to us time to time to check on us and made sure everything was to our liking. We also came back the next day for dinner. This time we ordered the Rava Masala Dosa and the Masala Dosa. They were both delicious. I was in a food coma after this dinner. I just sat in my car for a few min. We highly recommend this spectacular restaurant if you want to get full and truly enjoy the food. Thank you for the great service and delicious food.

I was desperately searching for Indian food in and around the Ormond Beach area and I finally found 5th element in Daytona Beach. Being from VA where there are a lot more Indian and Thai places (and very authentic good ones I might add), I wasn't expecting much; as in I was expecting either the menu options to be limited and/or tasteless. To my wonderful surprise 5th Element India Kitchen had wonderful menu options and it tasted fantastic! I think I danced in happiness all day! I got the saag paneer and I forget the name that they called butter chicken and garlic naan. I ordered both the butter chicken and paneer as spicy and loved it but could maybe try medium next time to see what level of spice I like better. I just wish there were more good/authentic Indian and Thai places in Florida...good/authentic being the operative word. Keep up the great work 5th Element and please add a location in Ormond Beach too; I think you might be surprised at how much activity you would get there.

Delicious and we would go back! You know it's good, also, when the clientele is authentic :) Some things to know: 1. their "mild" was not spicy enough for me, and their "hot" was not spicy enough for my husband. I could handle their "hot" - on a scale of 1-10 for me their "hot" was a 6-7. 2. We also waited a while before being asked for our orders, and while they nicely asked if we wanted the garlic naan brought out with the meal, we waited so long for our food as well that we just knew it was all going to get brought out at the same time. And sure enough, the entrees were brought out just minutes after the samosas and soup. We ordered veggie samosas, mulligatawny soup (vegetarian), garlic naan, saag paneer, and paneer Tikka masala. The naan was good and bubbly. Most of the food was excellent! I thought my saag lacked a little depth of flavor, but was otherwise happy. Would consider returning!

First let me say I have been eating butter chicken for more then 15 years. I love butter chicken and we have it at least once a week. I went to 5th Element and of course ordered butter chicken. When the bowl came out I thought he brought me the wrong meal because the chicken was green! Butter chicken is never green. The server went to the kitchen and then came back and said the it is butter chicken and the chicken is green because it was cooked on a green skewer. Well that didn’t make sense because the skewer goes inside the chicken and so the green wouldn’t be outside. I returned it and the gave me a new one, he never asked if the new one was ok. I didn’t eat it because I was already turned off from the one i sent back. I didn’t want to make a big deal so I paid and left but will never go back because I felt it was a health risk the way the chicken looked.

4.5 stars. This was some of the best Indian food we have had in central Florida. It's a hidden gem behind Wendy's off of International Speedway. It is beautifully decorated with ornate tin ceiling, artwork on the walls, a stunning and well-stocked bar. My shrimp curry was excellent. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. The medium spicy sauce was very delicious. Chicken dishes were excellent. Huge bowl of rice with entree. Naan bread freshly made and very good. Our server was personable. We had to wait a while to be served, and if you order soda it will be served in a can with no refills. Also had to ask for glass, ice and straw for the can of diet coke. That was fine. We had a little amuse bouche at the end of our meal: a little cup of mango ice cream. This food was really delicious! We will be back Highly recommend!
