Visited again this year and things have taken a bad turn at this location. From dripping ceiling to pitch black parking lot, management might want to take a look.

The 3 individuals working that night REALLY did not appear to enjoy their jobs or being around people. I definitely understand the public isn't always great to deal with, just want a slightly friendly vibe.

Requested use of a changing room and the older lady that was working handed it off to the other lady working who did not speak once and looked either angry or maybe nervous being around people??

To top things off even paying customers can't use the restroom that was available years past. I understand the reasons for limiting the use due to homeless traffic in the area, but the "sorry restroom broken" is a recurring theme in reviews. Might be time to do some repairs or to review policies.

This is a big traffic area, but this team on this night were not making Surf Style shine. I can visit their store closer to Daytona Shores. I can also visit one of the numerous mom and pop shops that seem very happy to have customers. Maybe employees need better treatment, hours, or support. Maybe the business needs a different team or mix up the shift for a better vibe.

Bummer. This used to be a 5 star place. Might need to pay attention - the tourists are fewer this year.. might have to step it up to...

If I go on a trip and don't bring back shot glasses, fridge magnets and the like for friends did I really go on that trip? I stopped at Surf Style this last Saturday during my Daytona weekend to pick up the aforementioned mementos for friends and family. This 2-story shop looks pretty new and is right on the strip and close to the boardwalk.

Besides touristy stuff, they also sell suntan oil, beach towels and other beach essentials. ( I picked up some SPF15 suntan spray).T-shirts and toys for the kiddos? Surf :Style has that too, as well some beach snacks.

Rude staff, they seemed bothered by me approaching them. Bought a shirt yesterday that ended up being too small, looked to exchange the shirt for one of lesser value by 2$ I wasn't asking for a refund just a shirt I could wear and was told unless it was the exact same price I couldn't do it. Lady seemed super miserable and had zero people skills. I left the shirt that was too small on the counter, I have zero need for a shirt that is too small so maybe they can sell it again for twice the profit.
