Volusia Square — Local services in Daytona Beach

The gentlemen over in the contractors side are very helpful and i had to go bother them for my issue but in the other side of it it's kinda frustrating. You ask for help from the front end to bring someone to a department and you do more waiting until you get tired enough to just go find another person and not let them tell you that they will call some one. It's already frustrating that the store carries less stuff on site than what it used to so you have to opt to go online to just order things. Why even bother going there anymore? I would rather go to a small little in town place just to get better help and what i need. As a child following my father into the store i recall so much more help and knowledge. I'm a frequent shopper at this small- mid sized shopping plaza at the entryway into the city of Daytona Beach. It's approximately 1\8 of a mile east of the US interstates 95&92 interchange. The businesses in operation during my last visit were: Dollar Tree, Beal's Outlet, Tuesday Morning, Catherine's, TJ Max, Hobby Lobby, Sally's, Toy's R Us/Babies R Us (closing soon), Tinder Box (tobacco shop), Aspen Dental, Pier 1 Imports, Arby's Roast Beef restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, Wild Wings a wing & steak house, a LensCrafter and the anchor store, Home Depot. It has plenteous parking with handicap parking availability. On a whole, I shopped in all of them in addition to former plaza tenants as well, with the exception of LensCrafters. Went to Home Depot to purchase a lawn mower; due to COVID-19 there is a limited supply and selection. We had to increase the amount we allotted for this purchase due to what in inventory. We selected a mower that was approximately fifty percent higher than our original set amount; but we were unable to complete the purchase because it would not fit in the vehicle we had at the time. We returned home and made the purchase online. I was awaiting the second email telling me that the order was ready but instead received a cancellation of this order.
