Below is a review I posted at an earlier time. Since that time I was contacted by the regional manager (Tim Cotton) He not only resolved my issue but I will get my couch nearly 2 weeks sooner. Tim is the kind of person who wants your business and will fight to keep you happy
This is a review for Haverty’s online. I ordered a couch after visiting the showroom and being told it would have a delivery date of January 2 (this was on December 1st) I was told they had it in stock at the Atlanta warehouse (I’m in Florida) So I decided ordering off the website, no better timeframe. I liked the couch so I decided to get it. A week later I was notified it was in stock and earliest day was 2nd of January so I went ahead and chose that date, another week went by and I was informed that they can’t get it by that date and now it was going to be after 8 January. At that time I decided to contact Havertys online chat. The customer service representative informed me that it was not in stock and there was no way for them to get it to me on the day I selected from their options. Haverty’s prices are higher than most places and you would think better service came with that it is not the case. Read moreWalked into Havertys with the intention of purchasing two (2) pieces of furniture. We were greeted by Laura Curcio (Sales Consultant) and this is where our story begins. Laura was extremely kind and very knowledgeable. With a no pressure sales approach, we started to explore the amazing options and furniture selections that were offered. Laura ultimately introduced us to Dawn Duffield (Design Consultant) and we were blown away with the selections and options that were presented on their video display screen(s) . Dawn was amazing and her expertise was second to none. We decided to expand our options and within a few hours we were redesigning our entire home. The prices were so reasonable that we added accent pieces , lighting and even bedding . Using the interior dimensions of my home, they custom designed a floor plan that we’ve been looking for at considerably less than we were willing to spend . We pinched ourselves to make sure that these furnishings , artwork and custom designed pieces were so affordable. Prior to leaving they thanked us for choosing Havertys , but we felt guilty , the only thank you’s should’ve Been from us . We’ve always bought from other large furniture chains , and we’ll be sure to never make that mistake again. Just the designer was worth...
Read moreAfter having shopped at a number of nearby furniture stores, I found a dining room set I REALLY liked; and bought it even though it was a lot more than I wanted to pay (2x). The quality was clearly superior, and the style very well designedI It is a really nice set! So here are the reasons for a 3 star. The salesperson claimed the set was on sale. Nope. Same price on the internet. Haverty's does not discount. But, they were giving a 4th of July $100 per $1000 credit. I had to ask the salesperson 3 times for it. And, it's per $1000. So, if you only order $1999, it's still $100. Then, they charge a lot for delivery and set-up. $150. The table comes to them in a flat box, so basically they put on the legs for you. I've done that several times before. Other stores don't charge. Delivery (to them) is 4 weeks away. I guess that is sort of normal for them; but other stores with a lot of their furniture in stock and you can get it in a few days. Finally, we changed the type of chairs in the set - no big deal - slat vs. ladder back. The salesperson said -"not a problem" - it took a couple of attempts to get it right. I think is in part a system issue more than anything else; but sort of annoying, especially given that their prices are on the high-end. So there...
