I went out of my way to go to this Wendy's because I have not eaten at Wendy's in the past 3 years or more there are a couple of Wendy's in my area I decided that I will go to this one because I remember this one having my food correct and hot and fresh and I really want it to enjoy my meal today and I don't know when I'm going to eat fast food again so I just believe in taking an extra trip because it's important to me to have my food correct and freshly cooked I purchase a big email chicken with bacon sandwich upgraded the fries I repeatedly asked over eight times please make my order fresh freshly cooked because the screen was not working upon placing my order I had to go to work so time was not on my side I looked in the back and noticed at the drive-thru that my fries will not fresh to cook I had them replace them with some freshly cooked fries and I briefly look through the bag to make sure I had the sandwiches as well as I purchased a cup of chili and a frosty everything looks like it was there I left and as I was going home to get dressed for work I took a bite of the chicken bacon sandwich and almost choked it was horrible it was tough it was old the cheese was stuck like glue it had been sitting under the heat you could tell for a very long time and my frosty was very melted down as if it had been sitting to decide and a customer may have canceled their order and that was one sitting to the side I have never ever had a lemonade that was so watered down that you couldn't even taste the lemon in the lemonade everything was horribly disappointed because again I haven't had Wendy's in three or more years so I really wanted to eat and enjoy my food before going to work and I went out of my way to this Wendy's I called immediately someone answered the phone with a very light voice they said they were the manager which you almost didn't believe it because the light voice I explained to them what had happened they said they were replaced my food I also explained to him that I am on my way getting dressed to go to work I cannot come back up there because I went out of my way to go to that Wendy's as well and The manager never said I apologize I'm sorry for your experience or anything he just said I can replace your order and since this just happened today I wrote his name on my receipt but I really hope that if I am to go back up there and get my order replaced I don't have to go do any BS because a lot of times the managers will say let me write your name in the book but he reassured me just bring my receipt and everything will be okay I really hope that's the case but I am horribly disappointed because if you spend $19 and some change on these items and this is your harder money and you haven't had Wendy's in three or more years you really want what you pay for everything is so expensive today as well and we all have to work and a lot of us work with the public it's just a sad shame that everybody takes things for granted like they're tired of taking people orders they're tired of people I understand some days you have those days but that's why I try to treat people the way I want to be treated so I am not one of those I rated customers who make you feel like you're a slave to the trade I appreciate everyone and I just wish they could have gotten my order correct it wasn't hard I am so...
Read moreCUSTOMERS BEWARE 8515 N. Telegraph, Dearborn heights MI. Store #253. Was served raw bacon on 3 sandwiches. No chili or the 6 drinks that I ordered. 2 were cold brews and they told driver to inform me that they didn't have those.... yet didn't even send the 4 pops. They could of just called grub hub and had them reach out to me for a substitute. When I asked the man "John" on phone why he didn't reach out to me, he said he is the manager said he ain't got time for that. John said I could bring my food back up but he can't remake it?! He'll be glad to take it back though, but there's nothing he can do for me since i ordered via grub hub. What a smart aleck response. John even gave me wrong store location #. He claimed it was 225. What a joke of a manager. I am still wendys customer, wendys uses 3rd party service, so yeah my problem should be wendys problem. Wendys is the one who sent me half my order and the food raw. He claims the store manager Levita cooked the bacon and it's not his responsibility. So he just sends out raw food? Health department will be getting call from me for sure. The arrogance of this man. This was Sunday 10/15/23 at 9pm. So whoever Levita is, her co worker is throwing her under the bus. Time to restaff this location. If John can't perform as a manager, he should try finding a factory job, cuz he does not belong in food or customer service industry. Attitude and raw food don't go well together. This won't be last time hearing from me about this. John will be secret shopped frequently from here on out by me. Read moreI want to start this of by saying that I understand that consistency (especially with customer service) isn't always a strong point for fast food establishments—and that seems to be a regularly accepted quality due to the fact that people don't really expect much more because well after all it's just a fast food place. I find this unfortunate, and wish companies and franchise owners alike did more to curb this from happening all too often.
Now that we've gotten that out of the way, this location definitely is not one of my favorites—I've only been here once and I will find myself going out of my way now to visit other Wendy's locations instead of this one.
The staff that I have interacted with here were rude and seemed extremely inconvenienced to be waiting on me. I also understand that everyone involved could have just been having a bad day and what not, but still. My girlfriend and I placed an order for two Frostys (which in my personal opinion would be an order on the simpler side of things) and everything seemed very unorganized and confusing for everyone. As we got up to the window to pay, the girl at the window still wasn't sure what we ordered and we had to reconfirm our order all together, etc. I could possibly understand this if it was during lunch or dinner rush, but we were like one of two vehicles in the drive thru. I wish I would have ordered more than just what I did so I would be able to comment on the food quality and accuracy but unfortunately that is not the case so I cannot really go into all of that.
When all is said and done, I probably will give this location another try at some point but I am not expecting a whole lot based on my first...
