I have never been treated so rude in my life. My first experience on 12/3/21 was great. I purchased a lot of food and tipped good with no problem. Waiter was amazing. Even gave history on sake. Tonight we came in for dinner, ordered shrimps fried rice and 2 popcorn chicken. We looked for our waiter but he was socializing not his fought, so we asked his colleague for a box. He stalled a little as he saw we still had a lot of food. After employees huddle and they acknowledged we had the box first but no bill it went left. Our waiter came over quickly with the bill and I didn't even get a chance to check due to the urgency of the surrounding of waiter. After the card was charged I was in the process of turning my card back off and instantly our waiter colleague came and just start clearing the table. We hadn't even put the food in the carry out box yet. Cameras show. After she took the plate she overheard me talking to my husband and butted in inquiring if their was an issue and if I will be leaving the tip in cash or debit. I couldn't believe. I advised her I am not giving a tip to her due to her not even being my waiter. She started going back and forth withe and I advised her she is making me feel uncomfortable. She was in my personal space when its Covid displaying disturbed body language (neck rolling) to me and speaking to me in a hostile that tone. I asked her would she like me to leave the food I paid for due to not providing a tip to her. The said part is my husband started to search for cash because he saw she wasn't going to let it go. I told him you don't tip when you're rude to. Long story short, I advised her she ruined my experience and to get out my face. Her colleague came to apologize as I watched her in huddle with the manager and some others. He didn't even care to chime in. Cameras show all the unprofessionalism. (I am an educated black person and started from the bottom. I worked a few restaurants in college and know how service should be displayed and reciprocated) Now we're still hungry with a night ruined and We Paid! You never know what situation anyone is in there is a way to speak to people no matter color. I will send an email. Unacceptable. Hopefully this was just an honest mistake because as we were just really getting seated, a black family had all these to go boxes and they weren't asked if they needed a bag until the man of the family started walking with their coats on.That's on camera too. Common sense a bag was needed. Maybe the workers aren't that happy since they only make 3.00houly per the rude lady. That not a Customers issue. Now this is making think what kind of establishment is this? Are you picking and choosing who to give good customer service...
Read moreI’m changing my review from 5 star to 1 star based on my experience this evening. My husband and I went to enjoy a late dinner. I ordered a salmon teriyaki for myself and 3 rolls for my husband. We also ordered salads- their house salad is amazing. Our salads came out and we enjoyed them. We then waited for our entrees and they didn’t come out. We noticed that others who came in after us were getting their food and we still had not gotten ours. About 50 minutes had passed and our waiter (Ronald? White black rimmed glasses) still didn’t check in on us. We called out to another waiter and explained what happened and he came to tell us that our waiter didn’t put in our entrees and he did just now and it would be another 10 minutes. We had no choice but to wait. Ronald came and said it would be 5-10 minutes without apologizing or showing any remorse. 12 minutes later, my husbands sushi came out and my salmon was nowhere to be seen. My husband didn’t want to eat before my food came out but he was hungry and I sat twiddling my thumbs waiting for my dish. I asked the other waiter about the salmon and he said he would check on it. At this point I was just irritated and didn’t want to eat anymore. I told them to cancel the order. The second waiter brought out our bill- Ronald was still walking around serving others. He didn’t come near our table nor did he apologize. Maybe my hijab scared him off? I told him thank you for ruining our night and he said “I profusely apologize” but it was very ingenuine because neither did he attempt to remedy the situation nor did he talk to us during the situation. I wasn’t even going to leave a review but his attitude is what drove me to it. If it’s the hijab that made him “forget” our order, he needs to understand the demographic he’s...
Read moreSo, bluefish happens to be my favorite restaurant. We went there on a Saturday around 3pm we were the ONLY ones in the restaurant & still somehow the service was HORRIBLE! & I mean the worst I ever experienced. It was my sisters birthday & it took forever for them to bring her food. We ordered two drinks & those came out last & weren’t even what we ordered. We ended up sending the drinks back. Also, the waitress (I wish I had her name) took our order & while we waited almost an hour for my sisters boyfriend to get his food the waitress told him “he didn’t order” but brought him a whisky sour that was HORRIBLE… after she told us “he didn’t order” we didn’t even bother reordering his food because at this point we were done with the whole experience…also I feel like if you’re going to sell alcohol drinks you need a bar tender or someone who actually knows how to make drinks… honestly I’m sad to say our trip to bluefish on Saturday was a complete waste of time.. the waitresses just sit & stare @ you… barely checked on us… we had to ask Twice for a pink lemonade that we ordered WHEN WE GOT THERE, it was just horrible! Which saddens me because this was my go to place for sushi… the food itself is always great but the service was trash! & I mean never go again trash! Last thing, as I said before we were the only 3 people in the restaurant so our food should’ve never taken as long as it did…people who came in AFTER us got their entire orders before we got most of ours… the guys that roll the sushi had absolutely no urgency… some were sitting in the counter top just chilling on their phones… some were in the back eating while we’re sitting there waiting for them to make our food… & that’s before people came in after us! Hopefully this problem...
