Firehouse Subs Deer Park — Restaurant in Deer Park

I normally don't leave reviews when I get less than ideal service. I was disappointed on this visit because I haven't been to a Firehouse Subs in over 10 years. Why? Because my order would come out incorrect and tasteless. I wanted to visit after new management took over and ordered the spicy cajun chicken sandwich. That is NOT what I received. Looks like I got a veggie sub with cajun mayo on it. There are mushrooms and sautéed onions on my sandwich. I don't mind those things, but there is absolutely no chicken on the sandwich, which I was really hoping to try. I'm not sure if I will return or not. I’m very disappointed with a recent experience. I found a blonde hair in my sandwich, and it definitely wasn’t mine—I’m a brunette. I attempted to call the restaurant twice to report the issue, but unfortunately, no one answered.

I’ve always loved Firehouse Subs, and I chose this particular location because it was on my way home. However, it’s too far for me to return in the evening, which makes this situation even more frustrating.
