Pho Barr — Restaurant in Deer Park

I've eaten a lot of pho from a lot of places and their pho is so good it should be illegal. Absolutely the best in the Deer Park/Pasadena area and definitely my top 3 favorites of all time. I'd also recommend getting the pork Banh Mi if you're not feeling like soup. It's top tier, though I did wish it had a little bit more meat. Not double, maybe like 10-20% more because it is so freaking good. But at the price of less than a trash sandwich from Subway, I completely understand.

If you love Vietnamese style egg rolls like I do, you will be a bit disappointed with Momma's egg rolls. They're not bad, it's clear whoever made their menu is looking to put a different spin on the dish, but they're not particularly good either. I probably wouldn't order then again, but I'm glad I tried them. The fish sauce that comes with it was exceptional though. It's got a very mild heat to it that makes it extra tasty.

The grilled chicken vermicelli is solidly mid. The noodles are perfect and you get a generous portion of delicious, fresh veggies, including their fabulous pickled carrots, but the chicken tastes like bourbon chicken you'd find in a mall food court. Not my style, especially considering how delicious the other entrees I've tried are. Though if you just need a bourbon chicken fix, and we all do from time to time, it saves you a trip to Baybrook.

Service was unremarkable, which in my opinion is the best kind. The wait staff are relaxed, friendly, and helpful and the kitchen staff are very fast. Both times I've eaten there, it's been less than 10 minutes between walking in the door and food being brought...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pho Bar, and it was hands down one of the best pho experiences I've ever had. From the flavorful broth to the delightful accompaniments, every aspect of the meal left me craving more.The star of the show was undeniably the pho itself. The broth was rich, aromatic, and packed with layers of delicious flavor. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the generous portion of tender meat left me satisfied and impressed. It's evident that Pho Bar takes great pride in the art of crafting a memorable bowl of pho.

The fish sauce wings were a revelation – deliciously meaty with a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. They were a delightful twist on traditional wings, and I couldn't get enough of them.

Equally impressive was the pork rice, which stood out for its delectable taste and texture. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, making it a standout dish that I would highly recommend.

Overall, Pho Bar exceeded my expectations. The warm and inviting ambiance, coupled with attentive service, created a dining experience that I won't soon forget. Walked in and was greeted with smiling faces - (very welcoming staff). I had the Vermicelli Shrimp bowl served with 7 nice size shrimp grilled to perfection / very fresh lettuce and delicious pickled cucumber and carrots .Large portion #DELICIOUS!

Shrimp and Pork spring rolls were perfect ,delicious peanut sauce as well . Tried " MAMMAS SPECIAL EGGROLLS " They are rolled in a delicious rice flour unlike anything I have tasted at any Chinese or Vietnamese restaurants. Stuffed with pork and small bits of shrimp , even my wife who doesn't like shrimp enjoyed them .Must try ...

And for the star of the show the PHO . My wife is a Pho-natic and she said it was the best she has ever had. My son tried the kids Beef pho for the first time he loved it as well .

Last item for this trip was the Strawberry Banana smoothie with Boba🧋 , the kids gave it 👍👍's Up.

All and all we are glad to welcome PHO BAR to Deer Park . Had a very satisfying first visit and look forward to...
