I had been going here for about 3 years and will not be returning. I went for an eyebrow wax this past Saturday, 04/15, and the lady was extremely rude, "Bella". The gentleman at the front counter told me to wait in the waxing room and someone would be with me soon. When I walked in, I noticed the white towel that was on the bed was dirty with hair and some dirt. After a few minutes she walks in and she asked me to lay down. I asked her if she could please replace the towel with a clean one. She didn't respond but got some kind of plastic and placed it over the bed where your feet go. At this point, I know I should have walked out but had dinner reservations and needed to get my eyebrows done. Before she began waxing, I asked her to please not make them thin and again, no response. When she finishes and hands the mirror, I noticed that one of the eyebrows is a little thin and I say so. She immediately gets defensive and says, "Well, I didn't want to mess up your form." The least she could have done, would be to offer to fix it but she seemed more annoyed than anything. I asked her what her name was and she said, Bella. I asked her where the manager was and she said she was and walks out. I went ahead and paid the $7.00 but will not be going back. I get it that they were very busy but I have always spent a minimum of $40+ every 2 weeks on pedicures, manicures etc. (not including tip). I will say, up to this visit, I never had any issues. Rose is amazing and does a great job every time. But as long as Bella is the manager, I have no intention...
Read moreI got there at 2:45 pm for a pedicure and shellac manicure. Pedi was okay. As far as the mani, I showed them a picture of an ombré nail color I wanted, I asked them if it was possible with shellac, several of the ladies said yes. So the first nail tech started my nails. She tried the ombré 3 different times on my pinky and even used different sponges to do it, but it didn't look good. I told her to go ahead and just do a solid color if it wasn't possible. She said another nail tech told her to do it a certain way and that it would work. She did ALL of my nails. They were horrible and bubbled up. The other nail tech came and took over. She took off all of the polish (this took another 40 minutes). I had and wanted them square and for some reason she decided she'd change it to round. I HATE round nails on me. I told her the same thing- go ahead and do a different color since she'd already stripped them so she didn't struggle with the ombré. Well the second nail tech did the same thing. She did ALL of my nails. The nails came out horrible, she tried to pass it off, but they were so bad I couldn't do it. She said she could do another color on top of the horrible ombré. And she did exactly that. And now they're like 5 layers thick, messy, lumpy and a hideous shape. It looks like my kid did them. I didn't get to leave until 5:30 ANDDDD they charged me for this garbage!! That's what really made me the most angry. I will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell, I was trying out a different place than where I've been going the last 15 years. That was a mistake. I was a walk-in and asked for a pedicure and wanted to get a set of nails put on. I sat down in the massage chair and the lady started working and it was lovely at first. Until the nail lady came over, turned off my massage and started doing my nails at the same time. While I appreciate the efficiency, I came to relax, not to be efficient. When I told her I wanted nails on, she plopped a big bucket of nails on my lap and told me to look through them, except how was I supposed to when she had my hands and was working on them? It got too overwhelming/annoying that I just picked the first color that looked like the colors I had picked for my toes. NOT THE SAME AT ALL. I wanted one glitter toe and one glitter nail on each and the glitter came out horrible and when I told her no I don't like it, just paint it the pink, she painted it pink and put the glitter over it. Honestly, yes, I could've said something and changed my colors and stuff but I was so irritated by then I just wanted out. I paid, tipped, everything. Not barely 2 weeks later and all of the nails are falling off. They usually last a little over a month or more. Learned my lesson, don't change places if you...
