Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Deer Park

This N&C is so painfully mediocre that it's just awful. While it suffers from the same epidemic as most fast food places where the prices have doubled and the portions are halved, they went the extra mile with the guy who took our order literally yawning without covering his mouth and saying, "Is that all?" Then we get our food, and sauces were just trash. The cheese sauce was coagulated and fully separated, and the spicy korean beef sauce had been watered down to the point I felt like I was eating noodle cereal. To cap it all off, when it started raining, our corner table was drenched by a leak within 30 seconds.

This restaurant is so bad that if a manager contacted me offering me free food to get rid of my negative review, I would report them to the police for threatening me with cruel retaliation for trying to subject me to their awful food again. You can do so much better eating out than paying $12-15 for 6 ounces of noodles and sauce that costs $1-2 in ingredients and takes very little...

July 30: today's visit was okay, the only complaint I have is that the floor was very dirty and one table had still the plates on it. I upload some pictures. We came back on the mac and cheese day and had lunch. The restaurant was full and a lot going on. The person who took our order had to be new because it took us 10 min if not more, we was 3 people but we knew what we wanted. I tried the new zucchini noodles and I love them! They don't have anymore the bowls where they use to serve the noodles. I feel like we get now less food then what we use to. Which I don't like that all. But it still taste great! This is my local Noodles and Co., and I am pretty happy with them so far. I've taken out quite a bit and dined-in few times, and never had any major issue with neither service no food. Only thing I have to mention that once I've spotted a man cleaning their exhaust standing on the cooking oven with his shoes on, as you can see on a pic; that loooked a bit disturbing, he could've done that when they're closed so nobody can see that. Be aware that large soup is really too large, good to keep in mind if you are taking it for a side to pasta or something. As many other chain places, cleaniness is a bit of a concern, and the place isn't that roomy. Sometimes I had to take out, because there were no open tables.. With that in mind, three stars for now.
