It was an average experience, nothing outside of normal. The food looked rushed out even though it was during a slow period. I kept it simple and ordered nachos. How do you mess up a nacho plate, you ask? Well, it appeared that they poured an entire bag of nachos on a plater, laid a bag of cheese on top of it, melted the top layer, and then, made the nachos on top of a heaping pile of chips and cheese. I was not impressed frfr. I ate the nachos on top of the chip and cheese mountain, but underneath the melting cheese on top of the bag of nachos was cold and never-melted cheese shreds stuck to the bottom of the blanket of cheese that formed the sheet they built the eatable nachos on, was in eatable. My wife showed the plater of the uneaten and uneatable nachos to the floor manager, and he just stood there as if he had never seen the cold, never-melted cheese beneath the actual nachos before, so my wife said we can't eat anymore. The nachos aren't eatable moving forward. It was 25% eatable because 75% was cold chips and unmelted cheese. He finally spoke and said this was unacceptable. But we still paid 100%. For me, this is the behavior that makes me feel good about trying a less popular place. They seem to care if you desire to come back or not. The service was mediocre. Our server was so comfortable that he didn't write down our orders. Nevertheless, I didn't get my drink. He asked me as we were leaving. How was his service? I reminded him that I never got my beverage, and he said I should've reminded him, and he would have gotten it. I told him that I told the manager, and he went back to the bar and picked back up the conversation it was in before we called him about the nachos. So the nachos, that server, and that manager are "GARBAGE." I'll never go back. I may try another one somewhere else, but there are way too many restaurants here to eat out every day, and I never have to go back to this place ever again. Valet was the best service we received at this establishment. I can't recommend any dishes on the menu. Not even a drink... There were no vegan options. This is why I settled...
Read moreI am regular here at this location. I saw the comments made about the host Omi and honestly I disagree with all of it. Commenter: @gabriella a mentions Omi said the table was ready but at that time you had to tale your kids to the restroom. Lady, they have a restaurant to run. I come all the time and omi always reminds us if we aren't back (after being texted) within five minutes they would have to call the next party. How is this not understandable? Did you want them make the next party wait on you as well? We as people are quick with complaints and never enough praises! I LOVE OMI AT THE HOST STAND!!!!! That place is always busy! And omi speaks very fast, efficient and effectively and that gets the job done! As I've said I've been coming here for years. Saw many host come and go. Omi is by far the best I've seen. UNDERSTAND IF THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH YOU AND THE HOST YOU ARE LIKELY THE ISSUE. They're only telling you when a table is ready or not. Lol be patient and allow them to work. They're doing jobs most people can't do. And that's deal with people like "gabby" who wants to wait a long time for a table but gets mad when she misses when it was called. I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO SAY OMI IS A KEEPER!!! The restaurant runs smoothly and I continue to come back and spend good money! All of the staff here are amazing! 10 out of 5 for me. And for the people who thinks they are getting skipped for tables. I've thought the same until it was explained to me. They get our numbers and allow us to go wherever we wish as long as we return within 5 minutes after they text saying the table is ready. That means, you may not see the person they texted because they may not be waiting directly in front of you. Allow them to work. Put your name on the list and be patient. If omi is at the stand YOU WILL GET TEXTED ! MANAGEMENT PLEASE UNDERSTAND WE LOVE YOUR STAFF!!!!!! WE...
Read moreSo my son actually received a Flanigan's Free Kids meal coin for doing a good deed at school. We waited an hour on a school night to be seated. I get it, this place is always busy. A family of 6 hopped in front of us. We mentioned it to the hostess she was super sweet but denied thats what happened. We didnt come for that we came to celebrate my son's accomplishments. So, let's give it another tried. We order the food bit the waitress only appears when we flag her down, she keeps forgetting what we asked for and just not attentive at all. Perhaps she was tired. The atmosphere was cool everything else was average and right at manageable. The curly fries were hard and cold. The kids rip and legendary ribs were actually off the charts!!! This is why you order the speciality entrée when experiencing a new place. I'm an IPA lady. They only had Goose Island...which is fine, but I asked the waitress what Amber beers they had...blank stare and NO KNOWLEDGE. Goose Island was totally fine, but I need my waitresses to have amble product knowledge when representing such an establishment. Do better! I had the chicken Philly. Ummm, that was not Swiss cheese tasted like vegan white American cheese which tastes like paper warmed up. The chicken, onion, mushroom combo was pretty dry, thank goodness for the Flanigan's barbecue which reminded me of Chicago famous mild sauce...if you know you know!!! Total fan of the Flanigan's suase...it totally saved the meal but sorry, I was only able to eat approximately 7 fries. The total 4 stars is based on the sauce and the ribs. My other son inhaled his burger too...prices are awesome to be on the or off...
