Panda Express — Restaurant in Deerfield Beach

I just had to share my experience today at Panda Express. I was being waited on by the employee "Nelsy" today very sweet girl doing a great job. So today on a busy Friday as all restaurants are Nelsy and the other employees were very busy or course I have patience which is something my precious Jesus gave me but people today Nelsy had a Daren. Daren was up in there with his dog on his arm when the dog didn't even have a vest on showing the dog is a service dog or support dog. So he's standing there with his dog next to the food waiting for his meal but because Nelsy was waiting on other people and he wasn't getting his chicken which he was waiting for because they ran out, so they had just put the chicken down from the kitchen wasn't there not even a minute. She was finishing up an order and Daren lost his mind in there complaining that he was going to call corporate and wanted the phone number. Hello Daren weren't you just rushing her cuz ur hungry and u want to get home but ur standing there waiting for a corporate phone # and ur food getting cold. That's a Daren for ya. Hey Daren you need to go home open a Bible and get to know Jesus your father because I'm sure your father in heaven was not happy with you today the way you handled yourself was very sorry, poor and just totally disappointing. Nelsy handled herself professionally and didn't even let it bother her 👏🏽👏🏽 good for her. See she has Jesus in her life. I visited Panda Express today because my son highly recommended their orange chicken, claiming it's the best.

I didn't know what to expect upon entering this casual restaurant. The atmosphere was lively as the staff attended to the customers, and people dining in enjoyed the food. I patiently stood in line, gazing at the various entrees on display: hot orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, broccoli beef, and many more. When an employee was ready to take my order, I requested two entrees (original orange chicken & mushroom chicken), one side (chow mein), and a large beverage.

Here's what was thought about the food: The chow mein tasted okay. The noodles were soft and sauceless with a chewy texture. The mushroom chicken was good; the chicken pieces were tender, complemented by mushrooms and zucchini in a flavorful sauce. The orange chicken was absolutely delicious; crispy, well-battered chicken pieces coated in a savory orange flavored sauce.

I do not have the Panda Express app, but my son does, so he will earn the rewards points from the purchase. I look forward to an occasional visit when I'm in the mood for orange...

This place SUCKS. I know it’s new, but come on. I have never had such a bad experience at any of the other locations. I’ve been to this location three times and have had issues all three times. First time I went, I ordered the string bean chicken breast and it was all string beans, barely any chicken that I paid for. I have been back twice, the second time today, on my lunch break for work and the last two times… they did not have the string bean chicken breast ready. I rushed there today to pick up my lunch and the lady told me it would be 8 minutes until it is ready. I had to get back to work so I did not get my lunch and did not want to pay for food I did not want. This is the second time they didn’t have their stuff ready and the lady did not even offer anything in return.
