*Update - y'all! The manager called and is bringing me my tenders. I feel like shet. Review edited. I love them again.

Now. The food is really good. I actually really like the restaurant, BUT I just had a bad experience. This rating is based off that. I'm all excited to grab some tenders and fries. I was craving it all day. Well I go get in line, and I noticed it was moving slowly, but I figured the food was going to be fresh. I cut them some slack. As I inch forward, prepared to grab my food and go nothing happened. A nice kid who's always there when I come asks what sauces I'd like. From behind the window, I see him stack them up. He's waiting for the order. Well an order is sat up there but it's not mine. I can tell he's confused. After 5 long minutes, he asks if I could pull forward. I'm incensed at this point. I pull forward. Put my car in park and storm in. I demand to speak to a manager. The manager is speaking with what appears to be other managers. He comes over a bit to slowly for my liking. I tell him this service is ridiculous. Where is my food?! He asks, and my food STILL ISNT READY. it's 10 tenders fries and tots. What in the actual f#ck?? I told him I want my money back. He says he'll give it back, and give me the food.. it'll be ready in 2 minutes. I go to grab the receipt, so he could refund my card. My food still isn't ready. At this point I. AM DONE! I said keepthe food. Just give me my money. I don't want anything for free. People dedicated to quality... Not at the Deerfield Beach location.. PDQ...

I should have known better when I walked into an empty PDQ, and my first clue was the number of dirty tables. It's such a disappointment because the food used to be good here, but this experience was a total 180 from my last visit. The lack of cleanliness should have been a red flag, but I decided to give it a shot.

I ordered a chicken sandwich, and when it arrived, I couldn't believe my eyes. It was lukewarm, and the chicken looked like it had been redipped in the fryer—like it was a leftover, reheated just to get it out the door. Even worse, the lettuce on the sandwich was a single large piece that hadn’t been properly separated. I was stunned that a place like this would cut such corners, especially when it used to serve decent food.

There was no way this sandwich was made to order. It was ready almost immediately after I placed my order, which made it clear they were just cranking out pre-made sandwiches in bulk. It seemed like the cook wasn’t interested in putting any effort into their work at all. No pride in their craft, no attention to detail, and certainly no care for the customer experience.

The workers looked absolutely miserable, too, which really added to the overall bad vibe. It’s clear they’ve lost their passion for this place, and I don’t blame them. I'm not usually the type of person to leave reviews about any place. Therefore, to be leaving a review for this fast-food speaks volumes on how much I personally believe this place excels in their quality of food, customer service, and maintenance. I've been a regular for over a year now since I work at the Target that's within the same plaza. Every employee in PDQ Deerfield Beach is friendly and attentive, although I will say that Matt and Christie are particularly my favorites out of everyone. They always greet me as soon as they notice I'm inside, make sure my food arrives to me fresh and in a short time, and they always approach me as I'm eating to confirm that the food is top quality, to ask how my day is going and what I've been up to, and making sure that I don't need anything else. I go daily and there hasn't been a single time that I have walked in and noticed the tables not being clean nor the restroom being filthy or out of order. one of their soda machines does often run out but that goes to show how much clients they have on a regular basis and typically by the next day they have replenished. I'm looking forward to continue experiencing the high-quality customer service and food that this fast-food serves. Thank you PDQ Deerfield Beach Team. You guys rock! (Especially you Matt...
