Sushi'O — Restaurant in Deerfield Township

I had to leave a review, because I was impressed with this little korean restaurant. I'm definitely going to go back, and try more of their menu items. the sushi was well prepared, and tasted flavorful and fresh. sushi rice was well seasoned, nori was fresh, veggies were crisp, and the fish was also fresh and well prepared before being sliced. the prices for the sushi were also unbeatable. I have paid 4x as much for sushi that was not nearly as good as the sushi here, so I think I was most impressed with the quality for the price. I mean, one roll of poor quality grocery store sushi costs $12-$16 and I got an eel roll and a salmon roll for about $6 each. you could eat a great sushi lunch here with a lot of food (two rolls of sushi) and a drink for $15, and that's without mentioning their lunch set specials, which also seem to be a great deal. you really can't get a better price than they're offering here, especially when you consider the quality and preparation to order. their korean menu items were also very good, and tasted homemade, with reasonable pricing as well. the kimchi fried rice was homestyle, like your mom's cooking, which I love, with lots of large pieces of kimchi. their banchan (side dishes, which are included with some of the main menu dinner items) were also good. the female wait staff were also very cute and sweet. my waitress was so nice, seriously. she earned every penny of her tip. I'm looking forward to trying this...

We've gone to this company twice. First time is was great, second time not so much. They give you these flimsy huge containers if you have to go order and if it's more than just a few rolls. It's cool and nice however flimsy. Flimsy infact that because it wasn't sealed enough the container fell apart on us even before getting into our house. We spent so much money on this food, and we aren't rich by no means. We were devastated, we call to see if they can refund for the items and no they won't even though it was their containers that broke. It was the worst. And we may not come back to do their response of next order 50% off. Okay tell that to my children who haven't eaten yet and now they won't get sushi because of this ridiculous container that I was given.

Soooo good. Really really good. I appreciate them taking the necessary care since I am allergic to shellfish. I make sure they are aware and have had no issues. I have tipped very well because the prices are really good and I appreciate the care they take. Always tip the chefs! It’s our new go-to for sure. My husband and I have been a number of times since we first tried it and we hope they stick around for a long time. They won’t disappoint.
