I haven't eaten at this location in quite a while. We decided to visit one evening since they did call ahead seating and I was craving something better than a pizza. I wish I would have stuck with the pizza. They seated us right behind the hostess podium and the phone rang-and-rang-and-rang-and-rang. When it wasn't ringing....it was beeping over-and-over. I complained to the waitress, and she said she'd notify a manager. For a few minutes they seemed to pick it up and put it on hold and let it beep continuously rather than ring. Then it just went back to ringing. It was 45 minutes of torture. I complained again, and FINALLY a manager came over and offered to move us. Now why did I have to complain twice? Why did I not see this manager the first time I reported the issue? They did move our table the second time, and we did get to keep our waitress who was nice (why I gave an extra star). However, the steaks came out cold??!! How are they cold? I didn't want to complain AGAIN, so I just ate my cold steak. Other issue this restaurant is having is the curbside pick-up.......WHAT A HOT MESS! They have traffic backed up almost to the main road, and if you sit in that line you'll be sitting there a hour. You actually have to drive down the wrong side of the road and hope no one is coming the other direction so that you can make it to their parking lot (plenty of empty spaces). It will be a very long time before I visit...

Maybe we came in on an off night, but the last time I went to this location was just as bad, so maybe it's how they portray the "down under" experience at the Mason Outback. Tldr: overpriced low quality food and experience. There were no drink menus either at the table nor dropped off with the regular menus by the hostess. There are also no sauces on the table, only a lonely set of salt and pepper grinders from the lower shelves of a grocery store spice aisle. Our server, while friendly and polite, seemed to be overburdened with tables. It was a longer wait than I like for drink refills and the sauces they didn't trust is with at the table. Ketchup for the Austin fries appetizer came out ten minutes after the plate of fries, in little metal bowls. The love of my life treats ketchup like Frank's Red Hot (she puts it on almost everything) so we needed several of the little bowls of ketchup to get by. We ordered a sirloin and a center cut sirloin and both cuts came out lined with gristle and tough as shoe leather. If one of the steaks were bad we might've asked for another one, but both being bad made me think that's how everything was coming out of the kitchen. If they told me it was kangaroo meat, I'd have believed them. The Ahi was the best thing they brought out; it was cooked well, but the presentation on a bed of cheap garden salad with a couple chow mein noodles was the laziest attempt at a poké bowl I've had...

We went to the Outback in Mason, Oh while on vacation to Great Wolf and Kind Island during Winterfest. We were there on Thursday evening. The food was great, the service was good, but our waitress was not. We usually only go to Outback when we're on vacation. First, I had asked if they had any of the Jeep Ducks that is occasionally available. She informed me, rudely, that they did not and she didn't know if or when they would get any back in. So then, I had ordered one of the Gingebread drinks that's supposed to come with one of the little koala bears. When I asked about it, she informed me that they were out of those as well. Ok, no problem. Upon entering I had noticed there was a Christmas tree in the corner covered in the little koalas and a large one on top. I had mentioned that she could just gimme one from the tree as it was Chrismas. To which she replied that those aren't for guests and then she even moved the large one from the top of the tree telling the waiter to "watch us" so we didn't steal anything. I know this is petty, but it was her attitude that really upset me more than anything and then thinking we would steal really topped it off for us. We always make it a priority to come there when we're on vacation, we always have great service and food and have always had amazing waiters and waitresses. We always order big meals and we...

Celebrated (privately) our 50th Anniversary here 1/26/2022 . All the food was very good, and prepared as ordered ,delivered to table at appropriate temperatures. We have not "dined in " here during covid outbreak, til now ,since my husband has compromised health. We are vaccinated and boosted, so decided to try it. We have ordered take out but it is never the same as dine in, for many reasons! We were seated at a back booth at a good distance ftom others which we appreciated. My husband walks with cane/assistance and is slow, employees were patient. Our waitress, Kyla was top notch, loved her personality, kindness and just her ability to serve the meal and check on us without being intrusive. She is an asset to Outback. The bread was served warm with soft butter, ordered the blooming onion which came out fresh and crunchy, then our salad /bake potato soup(yummy), and finally our ribeye steaks cooked just as ordered , and delicious sweet potato! Even our water was served COLD , which may seem unimportant ,but the little touches matter in the complete dining out experience. Great job to all the front staff and kitchen!

We took the girls to experience a fun dinner away from Great Wolfe! We had the seasonal Shark Attack cocktail with the Grenadine in the shark. Great idea! We did it to get the shark tho! We had two sips-it was way too sweet for us. Nothing against the drink or bartender. Tyrick was our server & he made sure to show us attention immediately! Very sharp young man and was very accommodating to our family. We started with a Bloomin Onion that was as tasty! The girls ordered Kid Mac & Cheese with Fries. We split a yummy Caesar salad and the seasonal Tasmanian Pasta. The pasta was just too spicy for us. But we filled up on bread and salad. Great dinner experience overall and kudos to Tyrick for noticing drink levels and multitasking so well! He ran the entire lounge with a smile and charisma! The little one brought up the challenge of getting hand soap in the restroom-it was too far away for a 5 year old. Just food for thought. And maybe a wider bowl for the Mac & Cheese. Thank you Outback!

It's good quality for a casual dining place. This Outback is always crowded when we go. Which is about once every two years. Ribs were very tender. Salad was good. The Bloomin Onion consistantly good. Our waitress was good and properly attentive. We were in and out within an hour, because we beat the crowds by about 10 minutes. My wife and I like it. However, we probably would not pick to go here if we didn't have a gift card. If you like Outback, you will be happy here. Edit: We had lunch here, again with a gift card, and the food again was good. There was no wait this day at all. My steak was cooked perfectly, my ribs were tender, and my potato was great. My 2 1/2 year old enjoyed her children's steak as well. It is a little pricey, $63 for two adults and a toddler. Also this time we did not order the Bloomin onion and opted for the onion petals. For two adults and a toddler this was the right size.
