KHANA KHAZANA "A Traditional Indian Cafe" — Restaurant in DeKalb Township

This place appeases my craving for comfort food. The complexity of the chat, curry and samosas is everything I hoped for and then some. Side note: this is not food I grew-up on but food I love. I travel all over the US for work and I’m kind of a “Husky-Helen”. That being said, if there is good food anywhere I am, I will likely find it! This is one of those places. If you like/enjoy Indian food, make it a point to stop in. I personally love veggie samosas. Vegetarian only menu kept me from ordering; very clean and well run looking restaurant, however.

Was very excited to see a new Indian restaurant in Dekalb. Unfortunately, menu is vegetarian only so no lamb biryani or butter chicken.

Obviously, I'm not against a vegetarian only menu - I'm just saving other carnivores the trip if they decide to go and aren't open to trying vegetarian.

From all appearances the food and atmosphere look excellent and I would encourage the owners to continue to pursue this venture... And maybe consider adding something for those of us who prefer meat (if it doesnt oppose personal or...
