Teresa's Bakery — Restaurant in DeKalb Township

Not being familiar with Mexican breads or pastries whenever I come in I end up picking things at random. I have no idea what anything is and I'm not always thrilled with the taste but it's undeniably fresh. Nobody has been able to assist me in English the few times I have walked in to help me make an informed selection. Which is fine, I like being surprised with what I end up with and it's not like I'm the target audience. Cash only is annoying and really limits the number of times I can come in. I've been coming to this bakery for over 10 years. I have no idea how I'm just now writing this review.

First of all, the owners are great people. Kind, hard-working, humble, talented, and welcoming! I have never been disappointed by the pan dulce here, I've reccomended this establishment over the years, to all friends and family in the area! I hope they're here for many more years to come.

The owners are very nice people, hard workers. I love their huge croissants, I make paninis with them. A decade ago they made my wedding cake, the most delicious and beautiful 3 leches you can imagine at an incredible price.
