6pm on a Friday. Two large cheesesteaks and a bag of chips cost nearly $40 now? Perhaps a fall from grace? Capriotti's used to be great, but this was subpar. I rarely write reviews, but this was so bad I felt compelled to jump on here. Their sandwiches used to be full and generous. But this time around we were literally able to close the bun, edge to edge, and enclose the skimpy portions of the sandwhich inside. This means, opening the roll, the meat clings to one side, perhaps maybe a teaspoon, no more than a tablespoon or so, in thickness. The bread was rubbery. The steak was dry. The flavor was bland. Honestly, this tasted like a P.O.S. cheesesteak you'd get premade in the frozen section of Acme, where you convert the box into a microwavable heating tray and hope for the best. For this cost, I am very disappointed in a place with such a (formerly) good reputation. In the photos below you'll see one with the sandwich open and the meat to one side. Back in the day, the large cheesesteak used to have its contents touch edge to edge. Now it's basically more bread than content. What a joke! Would be nice if they made good on this somehow.

Capriottis used to be very good but now they are weighing the meat they put on there sandwiches and cut it back to 1/4 of what they used to put on sandwiches. It's nothing but bread! Git a turkey sub and it was like eating a mayonnaise sub! If it was always weighed, you reduced the weight you put on it by A LOT! BREAD SANDWICH NOW! Update: went back and got a turkey sub and paid extra 27$ for extra turkey and it still had hardly anything on it, apparently the employees did get memo about increasing the meat on sandwiches! Also sat there while I was waiting and watched the guy working register wheel a trash can out the front door, come back in and continue to take orders and hand people there bags of food without washing his hands, disgusting! This place has really went downhill

Julia has a very nasty attitude! I asked her to remake sandwich since she was playing with it! She told me no...They made me a sandwich I wouldn't give my dog! The young boy with dreads MY SON COMING FOR YOU!

Went to Capriotti's for my first time, ordered a chicken cheesesteak. First thing, there wasn't an option for a Buffalo chicken cheesesteak, second the chicken was extremely dry and hard to eat, very light on cheese, cheese is the first part of cheesesteak. The roll was the only good part about the entire experience. Don't call yourself a sandwich shop, if you can't make a sandwich. Service wasn't friendly at all. I will never go to another Capriotti's. Since this review, corporate has contacted me, stating that I need to suggest they add a Buffalo chicken cheesesteak to the menu. No mention of the sandwich itself being horrible, put a link in their response to talk to someone about my experience. No one has reached out to me in over 2 weeks, since I created the ticket, to be contacted about my experience, no offer of compensation for my horrible food. What a awful franchise, they should be ashamed of themselves!!!! Whatever happened to caring for your customers, quality control, and pride in your product? Capriottis has none of these qualities in their business, stay far away from this...

The Capriotti’s shop usually has customers waiting in line, phone is ringing off the hook and more than one person making the sub stuffing it with meat. HOWEVER it was interesting to notice the one at THIS LOCATION , there wasn’t one customer dining in or any takeout orders but the one online order by my brother. I didn’t think much of it and assumed we’d get the same quality & quantity of meat as the other Capriotti’s on Marsh Road.

It was VERY disappointing when we unwrapped the subs to find the meat was less than bare minimum.. I know one thing, my family & I will NEVER return to THIS LOCATION. We have been ripped off!! The bread wasn’t fresh either! The turkey bobbie cranberry sauce tasted like grape jam! The turkey sub had more mayo than meat. The amount of meat on this sub was also very scant.

What a horrible sub sandwiches experience pre Father’s Day. Now I see the reason this place wasn’t busy on a Saturday midday ! Who can afford to pay top dollar for subs with more cheap condiments spread on stale bread without the...
