Christiana Pub — Restaurant in Delaware

I was searching for a karaoke spot on a Thursday night. After calling about 8 different places, I found this one and had driven 40 min to Christiana pub. Didn't look too promising outside at first, but when I entered the girl that was singing Tennessee Whiskey was phenomenal and the good vibes were most definitely there. Place was clean and locals were very friendly (no weirdos lol) and everyone was having a great time. My only complaint is the bartender Lexi was very rude when I entered and also when I went to get a drink. As a former bartender and server of 8 years, and as a first time customer, had it not been for the dj and the locals I might not have come back based on her initial attitude towards me. Other bartender (didnt get her name) was attentive and more relaxed as she was working. My suggestion is that every person who walks in the door is a paying customer and should be made to feel welcomed. Other than that, great time great drinks, great crowd, would still...

I ordered a Reuben sandwich and bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. The Ruben sandwich had a good taste, but there was a chard flavor from the grill probably, possibly from something else that was burned in seared the flavor into the sandwich. It really took away from the flavor of the sandwich. The French fries that came with that I couldn’t finish. There was a pretty nasty taste to the fries like possibly the oil in the fryer need to be changed. The poppers I tried to like, but again there was just an overall, not good flavor, which I believe came from the fryer. That also had some burnt chard flavoring to it, I was wondering if there was other things in the fryer that connected to the poppers.

Just overall not a good meal and I would not go back here or recommend this place unless they make...

It was a decent little place to shoot pool and drink ...maybe flirt with some local chicks lol .... the bartenders tend to be slow in getting your drinks .... but an early and respectable tip will usually remedy this issue lol ... had a good time and when the two girls i was talking to ...shooting with ... and getting flirted FROM had their husbands to suddenly appear .... they never even had a problem ...one even said THANKS to me .....and when i went out to smoke everyone was talking with a southern accent ( i am from north carolina) .... kinda strange bunch but seemed harmless and easy to mingle WITH lol .... i DID see some people getting ignorant with some patrons and they were immediately kicked out and barred from returning ....so it seems respectable enough as...
