This has been Our experience. I had Sapota Milkshake here after which I got a sore throat and fell sick for a week. A month later, Me and My Wife came in and She had Sabudhana Kichdi. That same night She started coughing violently and had to take a NyQuil to calm the cough. We didn’t have any other outside food on both instances. Not sure if this is just a coincidence or if something from the food caused Us to fall sick on two separate occasions back to back. Next - Again, this is Our experience. This Store is run by Gujaratis. Not sure if this is intentional. The Owner never greets Us nor smiles at Us. She just side eyes Us and looks away like as if We are there to eat for free while She pays for it. It’s the kind of a look like as if We are peasants and She is of a higher being. Not sure why. This ain’t the case when fellow Gujaratis visit the place and they are greeted with a warm welcome. Racism maybe since We don’t belong to Your community? Not sure. The waitress too never ever smiles. Just has a dead expression when serving Us. Not sure if this is the case with others too. Lastly - This gets Us every time. There’s this waiter who works there. My God. He’s a handful. Chucking attitude, intentionally ignoring Us/ intentionally making Us wait, just a weird vibe from Him. Not sure if it’s just Us again. There was this one time when We were getting late for a meeting and We requested for the check multiple times yet were dismissed and when We finally went to the counter to pay and rush to the meeting - this waiter rolled His eyes and was like “I told You I would come to get You checked out. Food: 4.5/5 The chat food at Honest Indian Restaurant is delicious and definitely worth trying. However, I found the Pani Puri Paani to be a bit disappointing, as it lacked the right balance of tanginess and saltiness that is characteristic of this popular street food. Upon inquiry, the manager mentioned that they use a global recipe for their Pani Puri Paani, which may not be to everyone's taste. Also Manager was not feedback mode and was not understandable.
