Good evening Family. I visited for the first time today. I did not realize the proximity of this location to my home. So close and so convenient. I definitely would not mind coming back again. I love the inside of this movie theater. When you go in. there are self serve kiosks where you can order your movie tickets. You go up one flight of stairs and then you have to go up another flight of stairs. They have an elevator, I opted to take the stairs for increased exercise. I always find a way to exercise my limbs, lol. My sweet nephew, MIchael would love this place. I can see him playing the games here and never wanting to leave. He would not be interested in seeing the movie, just playing the games, lol. I visited the rest rooms and they were clean. This movie location has 16 auditoriums. My movie was Sarah's Oil, which is a true story and of course I had purchased my senior ticket online. My seat # was D14. I always sit in the back. I waited in line for the concessions stand to be available. While I was waiting, I checked out the menu. I decided to order chicken nuggets, they give you six, and a small popcorn. The chicken nuggets came with fries, but I told them no fries so they gave me extra fingers, that was nice. Gabrielle assisted me with my purchase. She was a young lady and she was very kind. She answered my questions politely, about the food. My total was $25.97. Movie theater food is always high!!! I opted not to get a drink, since I always have to go to the bathroom, and I did not want to miss any of the movie, which I have paid for. Then to my auditorium 15. I love the set up here. The handicapped seats were in the far back and my seat was the one in front, D14. I love that you can choose your seats ahead of time. I gathered my items and positioned myself in my seat. I started eating my chicken fingers while saving my popcorn. I also had honey mustard sauce for my fingers. It was good. I always save my popcorn to eat when the actual movie comes on. While watching the previews, I don't want to finish my popcorn and when the movie comes on, I have nothing to eat. I reclined my seat. That was the best part of the movie and I just relaxed and thank God!!! Its a total movie experience for me. I have my popcorn, reclined seat and my blanket. This is my reward for getting through another week. God is so Good !!!! Yes I did doze off a few times during the movie, I was so so comfortable. Those reclining seats are the BOMB!!!! Sarah's OIl was a good movie choice and I would definitely watch it again. I enjoyed my experience at the Regal Brandywine Town Center 16 Movie Theater and I would return again and again. Also when I visited the Concessions stand, Gabrielle asked if I was a Rewards member and I am. I had forgotten about that. Gabrielle looked up my phone number. When I left to go home, a young lady asked if I would donate something to places like March of Dimes, Cancer, etc. I gave her $5.00 and told her to keep the change. The game was $3.00. It was a spinning game. So whatever I spinned, I received the prize. I won a prize for Michael and I will give it to him when I see him. Good...
Read moreThere was an error with the self ticket sale touch screen and no representative at the desk to assist me and so I go upstairs and ask a manager standing with a security officer and he tells me I have to stand in line where you get the food and drinks. I looked at him and asked those lines and not the usher? He said yes. So I stand in line for 20 mins because the food ordering process was kind of slow and when it was my turn I asked for my tickets to purchase and the associate stated that she only had exact change and I told her I only had a $100 dollar bill. She then said well you have to stand in the line over there. The line appeared to be another 10 to 15 min wait. I looked at hear and said could you have someone ring me up because the machine downstairs had an error, I tried ordering the tickets from my phone and I kept getting an error, I only have a $100 bill, and we've been waiting for 20 mins. and she said that's not my problem. I nearly lost my temper with her because who says that representing a company. I thought to myself she is an 18 ot 20 year old and didn't know better so I bit my tongue and she saw the look on my face and I guess realized she shouldn't had said that and she offered to run over to another associates register and ring up the tickets while they were prepping their customers food, which was nice of her, but could've been thought of, expressed, or done in a professional manner sooner. I truly wanted to leave after that, but my nephew really wanted to see the movie. I know it's hard for theaters after the pandemic, but cutting a ticket salesman if your devices don't operate is not a good move. The usher should be able to sell you tickets with their handheld device and if they can well than that manager I spoke to is horrible at his job for sending me to the cashier in the food line. Also, what's going on with the seats? They're so worn itchy and uncomfortable. I loved the...
Read moreI bought tickets for a movie opening on Christmas Day so I knew it might be crowded. I kept checking the availability online a couple of times a day and decided to buy a ticket online. I used their seating chart and it wasn’t accurate. At times, I need to use my walker if I’m walking long distances. I decided to forgo the walker because I was uncertain of the seating since the cart was wr online and I was afraid I would not have room for the walker. I had no idea that was the least of my problems. I guess it was my fault for not asking a lot of questions, some of w I would not have known to ask. I had to go up three floors and thank goodness the escalator was working because coming down, it wasn’t and only one small elevator was in service for hundreds of people. Once I got upstairs, I got snacks and gave the usher my ticket. He told me the theater was “two rights.” I went two rights and no theater. I walked back. Again, I was told “two rights!” I tried again. No theatre. I walked back a third time but had to sit due to my back being unable to stand up straight and the pain I was in. I told him I needed him to show me but he was “disabled and unable to leave his station.” WHAAT???? So, a really nice lady who was also a theatre goer not an employee found the right place. It was two rights but the second right was a full corridor length away and it was the last room in the building! So, if you have ANY trouble walking and use a walker, cane, w/c or something...
