I used to love this coffee shop and was a regular for a long time because the drinks were consistently great and the customer service was top-notch. Lately though, the experience has really gone downhill. The last couple of visits have been disappointing. It seems like the staff now is mostly younger and honestly, it feels like they don't really care. When I walked up to order, I was met with attitude instead of a welcome.
I ordered a salted caramel mocha with no whipped cream, but what I got was a drink overloaded with chocolate, no noticeable caramel flavor, and a mountain of whipped cream on top. It felt like they didn’t listen to a word I said.
Back in the day, there was a bald guy who always seemed to be running things, and the whole team then really cared about making quality drinks and treating customers well. I miss that level of service and consistency.
Really hope they can get back to what made this...
Read moreI was looking forward to having lunch at this place, as it has showed up on my search as having good food. My experience however was very underwhelming. I tasted four different items on the menu and all were bland. The only good thing here was that the Wait staff was friendly and polite. Calamari was extremely tasteless, the flat iron steak had no flavor what's so ever to talk about. The Roasted Salmon had no seasoning, the creamy carnaroli rice does taste ok, but the Salmon combination gets it an F grade. The Crab macaroni and cheese was dry and tastes like something overcooked in the microwave. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this restaurant. Get 2 stars for good customer service...

That Cheers theme song has it right—sometimes you do wanna go where everyone knows your name. That only happens if you’re a regular, which I am at the EBar.
The entire staff is friendly and even before becoming a regular, I always received prompt and friendly service. Coming from someone with 5+ years of barista experience, the staff knows what they’re doing, and even if the coffee beans are not QUITE up to my snobby 3rd-wave-cafe-frequenting standards, the drinks are uniformly well-prepared and served with a smile.
I guess what I’m saying is I love the eBar. Go get you some. Hands down, better...
