Staff is terrible. Cant get drink refills. Servers forget orders and dont know how to wait on people or take orders. Can't get a lunch or dinner here. Have to ask 4-5 different people for help. Servers don't check on you. Servers dont come over to the table and provide service. Servers arent trained well or have no experience. They need to hire new Servers. Management acts oblivious to whats going on. Place is like a pit. Servers and front of house staff are lazy and messy. Managers don't know how to do their job. Lynn the manager is perhaps one of the worst managers ive ever had a conversation with. Shes rude, cant carry a conversation, lulls off, and cant address concerns. Why do they have Lynn as a manager? Shes unprofessional and shouldn't be a manager. I dont know how Lynn maintains employment there. Seen her and 2 other females congregating and talking around bar and outside of restaurant( Lynn doesn't seem concerned with her job or the functions of the restaurant ; let alone the Guests or Guests experience.) Hello there are guests at the front door walking in or people at tables that need service. You watch numerous customers complain when you go out to eat here. Also serving staff is perhaps some of the worst ive ever seen and ive been to a lot of restaurants. Servers forget things. My family cant get refills. My family Cant get a box or boxes for togo. Service sucks. My family cant order more alcohol or takes forever for refills. My family Cant order dessert or feel like we cant. Feel rushed, felt a complete lack of attentiveness from Servers or wait staff. Other families who come in have a similar perception of this Chilis in Delray Beach( service sucks)Managers hire Servers or have tenured employees with no Serving or Waiting experience to Serve tables or be Server's. They also have tenured employees that wont do there jobs. Younger kids playing games all over the store. Older employees in there 40's that hate there jobs, cant perform simple job duties, and don't like talking to people. Servers need to fired at Delray . Managers play coy; Don't know anything. Managers don't care or don't know, or play games. Managers don't hold the Server's or wait staff accountable. Worst Service ever. Its a shame. Management is to blame. Hiring inexperienced employees or employees in the wrong positions is a problem. They need good Servers here or people that care. Employees look like drug addicts and they make jokes while they are working. Few of the employees drink on the job. We have been coming here on weekends. Either that or a few of the Servers ( girls) up front are lazy, need to retrained, don't have experience, commit health code violations left and right. Eating food while serving food gross ladies. Had to ask for napkins and got up and started walking to the bar seen our Server eating Chinese takeout inside the Vestibule like gap between the kitchen and dining area where Waiters ring orders in or hang out. Another manager or person working that appeared to be a manager stood in the area just chilling and checking her phone. Such a lazy atmosphere. Seen at a seperate visit to this Chilis in Delray Beach a male Server who was heavy set and he was eating a full course meal and then walking out to the dining room working at Chili's. He was working and eating and obvious about it. Not washing hands. Employee's dont care, dont care who they get sick, dont want to, cant do it, or won't. They don't care about the operations of the store or the Guests.Servers are complete air heads. Forget everything. They have no clue how to take care of Guests. Where is District Manager? Pathetic, no experience. It's not a busy store. It seems as if not only management but staff doesnt care; pace and it's a pretty slow one. Managers are terrible. Most of serving staff sucks. The good employees are Chris and Jenna. Only two that are really good. Servers suck in the building and most don't have experience. Ask your Server an Alcohol or cocktail related question. Unless it's a margarita on front side of menu the...
Read moreI’ve never left a review, especially a bad one, but after our experience today, more people need to be aware. Something definitely has to be done because reading the reviews, we aren’t the only ones who have experienced very rude managers at this location. Lynn and Mike definitely need more customer service training. Their goal was not to please the customer at all. It was a very frustrating and disappointing experience.
After treating my young daughter unfairly, especially after she asked for a refund without even receiving her food, I called up there and was left on hold for a long time and then purposely ignored while my daughter watched them avoid my call. Thankfully I’m six hours away and they only had my teenage daughter there to deal with their verbal abuse and blatant rudeness. I finally received the same over the phone until they realize I’ve worked at a Chili’s for a while, based on my choice of wording.
They were dishonest about how they handled my teenage daughter and their conversation with her, not realizing I was on the phone with my daughter while she kindly and professionally expressed her issue and eventually asked for a refund when they refused to remake her meal that was mistakenly taken by a Door Dasher. It was the worst experience. I was adamant about receiving either a refund or Be Our Guests cards.
After about ten minutes of back and forth, cutting me off, raised voices… yes managers yell at customers and aren’t truthful… my daughter finally received her BOG/refund. If a refund to her debit card wouldn’t take up to 7 days, we would’ve just taken the refund and NEVER eaten at another Chili’s in our lives. Our family has spent so much money at Chili’s over the years. I am not happy admitting that I’ve worked for this company before. I’m embarrassed and disappointed to say the least. The workers are the face of the company. I’ve redeemed many BOG, I’ve never had to issue one. Customers were always first and their satisfaction was always guaranteed on my part. ALWAYS. Sorry to write a book but this was a horrible display of management and customer service on Lynn and Mike’s part. Very unacceptable and...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Chili's with my husband, and I must say that our experience exceeded all expectations, thanks to the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Daiane. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and prompt attention, setting the tone for what turned out to be a delightful meal.
We started with the Triple Dipper, which was a perfect mix of our favorite appetizers. For the main course, we shared the shrimp and chicken fajitas, which were sizzling and full of flavor. To top it all off, we enjoyed a Margarita Tiki Beach Party, which was the perfect refreshing drink to complement our meal.
Daiane was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely cared about our dining experience. She made excellent recommendations and ensured that all our needs were met throughout the evening. Her friendly demeanor and professionalism truly enhanced our visit.
In addition to the outstanding service, the cleanliness of the restaurant was impeccable. The interior was spotless, and every table and surface was well-maintained. What stood out the most was the condition of the restrooms. They were exceptionally clean, well-stocked, and clearly well-cared-for, which is a testament to the overall high standards at Chili's.
Overall, our visit to Chili's was fantastic, largely due to Daiane's superb service, the delicious food, and the pristine environment. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a clean,...
