Sweet's Sensational — Restaurant in Delray Beach

Oh, my gracious! These oxtails were so delicious. My husband and I retired back in 2018. And we frequently visit the Delray Lakes area. My son and Grandkids live there. Most of our visits include an oxtail dinner at a local establishment. So, our regular oxtail spot we frequent no longer has a cook to our dismay. So we had to find another Wayne & ReGena oxtail haven. I got busy and started my google search. We find two locations, but one spot was just 10 minutes away, so off we went. Just two right turns and we were there in 10 minutes. Our Sweet's Sensation encounter was about to transpire. As we entered the establishment we were greeted by a very nice young lady behind the counter. She was super friendly and just had such a welcoming spirit about her. As I shared our little oxtail dilemma, she listened with patience. Then she then did the unthinkable: she offered us a sample taste of the oxtails. My husband and I were sold on the first bite of the sample, oh yes, we were locked in. We ordered two large oxtail dinners, $21 each and worth every dollar, if I may add. We literally, had enough food to feed 2 or 3 more people. Which worked out perfectly for our Grandkids. The oxtails at Sweet's Sensation were absolutely to die for. Listen all readers, this is a definitely must-stop, for the very best oxtails in this area. So, now this is our new oxtail spot and it's only 10 minutes away. We were driving 20 miles for oxtails at the other location, go figure. I promise you will encounter great oxtails, a clean establishment, and friendly and professional service with a SMILE!!! Not to mention a sample taste too, yes Sweet's Sensation we are now officially lifetime customers. We plan to have a slice of your sweet potatoe pie to go along with our oxtails, on our next visit.

Been coming to this restaurant since a teenager and always had the best experience/best food. I stopped by after months and was so disappointed. I order a large plate of jerk chicken and rice and peas ($20) the chicken was nice and hot and tasty, however the rice was so cold. I was shocked. It was as if the rice was sitting somewhere with no cover. I had no choice but to bring it back. What made it worse was when the girl took it to fix it, you could tell that she threw it in the microwave, cause the taste of the food and chicken was blanded out, and parts of the chicken was clearly overheated as well as the plate. Was so happy to find Jamaican cuisine that was located close to me. Had to drive to Hypoluxo which is miles away. My experience with customer service was not good. The woman at the counter was not very friendly. Felt unwelcome as soon as I walked in, just got a look like what this white woman doing in here. The food that day was very good though so I did go back. Same experience with service the 2nd time and food was horrible threw most of $16 oxtail away and actually got sick.
