I've been hearing great things about this place for a long time! It's right on Atlantic ave immediately before the bridge. Stopped by today and noticed they have 10% off your check for checking in on yelp.
They are open 8-4pm. We parked and headed over at 3pm and to my surprise the place was still busy! They are even pet friendly with a dog-friendly menu. We ordered a $4 iced coffee and $4 sangria. We were having a hard time deciding what to order, everything sounded so delicious so we let the server know it was our first time to give us some recommendations. He recommended the mushroom breakfast flatbread, the popular surfboard entree, the drunken cheeseburger omelette and mentioned that if you're looking to order any regular items, just a regular pancake or french toast they can make those items.
We ordered the baked brie to start with! perfect! The drunken cheeseburger omelete and the shortrib hash. The shortrib hash is sweet and has a lot of sauce but it was tasty. The cheeseburger omelete is a huge portion so be ready to take some home but it was so freaking good!
I took a star away because our food took so long, it came after the table next to us, who got there after us so I thought they forgot about us. The server also didn't mention anything about the 3pm happy hour hour menu. We found out from the table next to us who ordered some menu items I had been looking at in photos but I just thought maybe they took them off menu.I didn't realize they had a happy hour menu in the back. I'll definitely be back...
Read moreI had the opportunity to visit this establishment with a friend and due to the reviews I was looking forward to tasting the food. Unfortunately, my experience was hindered by the attitude and poor service of my waitress. When placing my order, the waitress explained what was in the roll but when I received the order I did not realize it would have extra items so I asked if it could be prepared without it. She came to the table and then the attitude began. She stated that I needed to read the menu better to which I pointed out that the details were not there. The woman told me that I needed to do a better job at reading and not making decisions so quickly. I was so taken aback and was even asked if I was okay by my friend and another patron at another table. For the remainder of my time, the waitress gave me the worse attitude, would not address me when I had a question to the point when my friend stated that this woman was giving me a really bad attitude the entire time. I have never been treated like this and I swear this made a difference on the way the food even tasted. When I settled on a different meal, the presentation and the bits of shell in my crab cake were in such poor taste. I am so disappointed by this experience and was looking forward to a truly great time with a great friend. Hopefully it was a bad day for that waitress and the service is not always...
Read moreI've walked past this place hundreds of times and have always wanted to have breakfast here but I'm usually not in town during the morning. Four of them stopped here to have breakfast and it was perfect. It's a cool small place with only outdoor seating (awning, umbrellas) in a great location. Our server was friendly, attentive and helpful.
Three of us had coffee and one had a Bloody Mary while we looked over the menu. Two of us shared the Chorizo Breakfast Tacos and the Belly Bustin Burrito while the other two had The Bridge Salad and the Breakfast Sammie. The Tacos and the Burrito were amazing. The Burrito was large and I could have shared it as my breakfast. The Tacos were also delicious.
This is the perfect place to have breakfast (at any time of the day) and then take a walk downtown Delray or to the beach. It’s small so I would guess weekends are busy. We didn’t have to wait for a table on a Monday at about 10:30. They do take reservations. I look forward to eating lunch at the Bridge Cafe and trying the Reuben Tishoff sandwich.
I like that they have a clear pet policy. Smaller dogs (under 38 pounds) are allowed but read the full policy on their website if you plan to bring your poppy. “
Their website says “Sustainability and quality are our passion. We proudly support local farmers and artisanal vendors to create dishes that make your taste...
