Auntie Anne's — Restaurant in Delta Charter Township

I tell you what, no wonder the Lansing Mall is dying out. Isaiah W at the Auntie Anne's in the Lansing Mall is horrible, and the customer service is ridiculous. I am not sure how they are still in business. I simply asked for my food to be fresh, and they just handed me old dried-up pretzels, so I took it back, and they got an attitude immediately. I just asked for my money back because they would rather give me old pretzels that have sat out for 30 minutes than take a couple of minutes to make me fresh ones. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me, then Isaiah W just sat down the whole time while telling me he was working on it, but yet he is sitting down not doing anything. No wonder he's working here, cause it's clear they have no training in customer service. I hire thousands of people a year for a multi-million dollar company, and I would never even think to hire someone with such unprofessionalism, lack of customer service skills, and lack of accountability or compassion for...

Usually the pretzel bites are good however this time they were stale and burnt. This was at 1pm on a Saturday and it was pretty busy in the mall so they really shouldn't have been that way. On top of that the service was awful. When I ordered the young lady was short with me and rude. When I paid I selected "other" as my tip option and selected "$0.00" since her attitude didn't warrant any tip. She was doing her basic job function which she gets paid her hourly wage to do and she had a bad attitude doing it. (Even though I was polite and pleasant to her saying please & thank you with a smile) when the receipt printed she glared at the no tip and slammed the receipt on the counter and glared and me. I understand that closing is not a fun experience. I try to not leave negative reviews but I did not have a good experience here. I waited with my partner to be helped. After 8 minutes of waiting, without being acknowledged, the employee prepping food called another employee up front to take our order. Nothing was said to either of us. The person who came to the counter didn't say anything to us. We were about to order the food that was on display and the employee prepping the food threw it in the trash as I pointed to it. I was confused what was available to be ordered so I asked the cashier and she was confused and the man prepping said something under his breath that I didn't understand, so I just left.
