"I" asked strangers if they knew of any Good, REAL bbq to buy in the area, because I am new to Denton

"I" looked up Immediately, because of the way the persons described the FOOD, Service, and Amount Served... Two Different Sets Of People In That Place Began To Talk About Chubz.

"I" was going to order That day, Monday, 4/22/24, but they are closed on Mondays

"I" KNEW "I" Wanted Them For Tuesday, 4/23/24

"I" FINALLY MADE IT ON TUESDAY EVENING. "I" ORDERED THE $45 PAN (TOO MUCH FOOD...LOL). "I" SAT AND ATE ON THE LOT, WHILE VIEWING AN ONLINE WORSHIP SERVICE 🙌. "I" WAS DEFINITELY NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! "I" HAD TO GIVE THE REST AWAY, BECAUSE IT WAS ALOT. "I" WILL BE BACK SOON(!!!)

Okay hear me out, you have to try Chubz Spudz in Denton, Tx. It’s a local BBQ food truck owned by the sweetest guy in Denton. He believes his life purpose is to make people happy by feeding them and he’s been this way since he was a kid. Not only are the food portion sizes generous, the taste is to die for! The owner Steven Gibson is dubbed Mr Tender Ribs for his well known ribs that are so tender and fall right off the bone. Wait till you see the prices! Steven prides himself in making his masterpieces affordable so that all can enjoy and even donates often to the homeless. I've successfully eaten here once a couple years ago and it was delish. I've been unsuccessful ever since. I keep telling myself to stop trying, but I keep craving it and you'd think eventually I could catch him, but I've showed up during regular hours, during times he's posted he'll be open, and even just now when it looked open with chairs out, window open, menu up, but no one around. We asked inside Eskimo Hut, we waited, we looked all around the trailer, door wide open, but no one around. Kids had even picked things off the menu, but we left empty handed yet again. I hope to finally give up, but I'm sure that teasing memory of the first and only time I've eaten here will make me try coming by again for further disappointment.
