Dazbog Coffee — Restaurant in Denver

I love their hot chocolate! Always puts a smile on my face! I've had their coffee in the past as well and it's really good, high quality. The baristas are always super friendly and welcoming. I'll give 5 stars once I have a perfect experience with the food. Today, unfortunately, their pierogi was really hard and rubbery. They tried replacing it the first time, but the 2nd one was still rubbery. The filing was really good though! I only ate it because I was super hungry and wanted something small and quick. XD They did make up for it though in the end, apologizing for the pierogi fail and giving me one of those free drink on us next time cards, which I didn't expect at all. It was really nice of them to go that extra mile. I wasn't mad at them, nor raise any heck, was taking it all in good humor....

The price is on par with other coffee shops (which, to be candid, are all overpriced IMHO) so I cannot fault Daz Bog for being a tad high. Their coffee, to my taste at least, is always on the over-roasted bitter side. If I were at home, I'd cut it with copious amounts of some flavored creamer but alas flavored creamer at a coffee shop is apparently a non-starter. The only offered flavorings at Daz Bog are, like many coffee shops, syrup based - read: pure sugar. The end result of a flavored coffee here is coffee so sweet you'll have a sugar-induced crash almost immediately after the caffeine-induced rush. About the only bright spot in Daz Bog are the...

I come to this one, because I work in the same building. But this blonde chick that works here is good at what she does, but is such a grouch. She does not greet you with a smile, but gives you these f-off eyes, and really is very hard to work with when it comes to ordering your coffee. She tries to rush you when you order, and only greets her regulars that are everyday. I work one day a week, and well, there were some good employees here at one time, but these new ones with their tattoos, are such unprofessional, unhappy, and very bad customer service.
