Update: yes you are correct receptionist did say hi to us when we walked in and i did mention that, however i did ask how much was the manicure and she ignored me water they did offered after my daughter ask for it not right when we got there witch is not a big deal, pricing yes you have an add on Facebook for $70 dollars and now that you mention that you have cameras and audio you should know i ask for a gel manicure not a hard gel manicure i did not know she was doing a hard gel manicure she didn't ask at least to make sure that was what i wanted about receptionist asking if everything was ok yes she did but there was nothing she could of done so why even bother i wasn't gonna sit there for another two hours to fix there mistake, just for reference not everyone gets to look at your website so you need to make sure you ask what service they want and tell them the pricing before they start any services I'm not upset about how much I paid im upset of how I paid it wrong service (nail tech mistake) Cheap products (bettles from amazon) And lack of communication Again I asked for gel manicure not russian hard gel whatever you mention.
This is my first time here and I am not happy with the service, I expected much more than what I received, to begin with, they were in a group having a conversation (nothing wrong with that) but when I entered they just said hello and continued with their conversation, then They told me which chair to sit in. The person who helped me didn't greet me. SHe didn't welcome me. SHe just started working. Then I asked how much the manicure cost and she didn't answer me. I was expecting to pay $70 according to a facebook add but I wanted to confirm 10 minutes later the receptionist came and told me we are going to charge you $20 dollars to remove the gel that you already have and I was surprised, I know that some places charge and others don't but this place was already ($70) for the manicure I thought It would be included ok after that I agreed to pay because I already had a hand without the old polish I couldn't just say no and walk out, after that I noticed that the person assisting me didn't ask me what you want how you want it or anything she just did what she thought I wanted she burned my nail beds several times with the electric file. Afterwards, they didn't have the color I asked for. I arrived at 3:40 in the afternoon and left the place at 5:30. When I paid, that's when I realized that the manicure gel cost $80 and Not $70 as they advertised on Facebook and what disappointed me the most was that the products used are Amazon products, Bettles brand they charged me $100 for a poor service and with Amazon products. I been to better place for the same price i left very...
Read moreI’ve been going to this salon for quite some time. They’ve always done a great job shaping my nails and cleaning my cuticles, but I’ve often left with results that didn’t match what I asked for. I usually let it slide because the nails weren’t bad—just not what I wanted.
This time, I booked a French ombré and showed an inspo photo. The blend wasn’t there at all, and when I spoke up, the tech tried to fix it but it still didn’t look right. I asked if we could just switch to a nude, but the owner stepped in and suggested chrome, saying it would help. She applied it to one nail and told me there’d be no extra charge. I trusted her and let her continue.
After 2.5 hours for the manicure and another long pedicure, I had been there over 5 hours and still wasn’t happy. When it came time to pay, I was still charged for the ombré—even after saying I didn’t like it. I had to negotiate to have that removed. On the way home, I kept trying to convince myself I liked my nails, but I just didn’t.
I reached out that same night to ask for a color change before a wedding this weekend. I appreciated them trying to squeeze me in, but mid-drive they called to cancel, then offered a Thursday spot instead. I asked again if I’d be charged for the fix—they said no at first, but later changed their mind, claiming they already gave me a discount and didn’t charge for chrome (which they had suggested in the first place).
I completely understand that people don’t want to work for free—but when a customer spends hours in your chair, pays premium prices, and communicates their dissatisfaction immediately, you’d expect better customer service. I’ve always been happy to pay for quality work, but if a salon can’t stand behind their service, it’s time to find one that will. What really put things into perspective is that I found another salon willing to fix my nails at a heavily discounted price—even though they had nothing to do with the original issue. When I explained the situation, they told me their policy would have been to fix it for free if it had been their work. That speaks volumes about their dedication to customer service—and the lack of it I experienced...
Read moreI have visited this establishment four times and also referred my daughter. The first two experiences were satisfactory in terms of nail service and customer service. I had two positive services with Lola, the owner. However, the last two times, she seemed rushed and accidentally cut me on four different fingers. Her response was that I had previous gel, which was applied by her by the way, and stated it wasn't her fault, without offering an apology. I found this remark to be insensitive. My daughter's experience was also subpar. Her nail technician, Sabine, requested that she move to a different chair to finish her nails and also accommodate another client, despite my daughter arriving 30 minutes early for her appointment. My daughter declined, citing the unfairness of being asked to move due to the technician's time management issues. It resulted in my daughter feeling so humiliated and literally crying in front of everyone. Furthermore, the final result of her nails did not match the picture she provided to Sabine. I am confused as to why she would claim to be able to execute a specific design and then fail to deliver and have the nerve to try and charge $150 for horrible service and terrible looking nails. It would be more fair to us as good paying customers to acknowledge their limitations and refer clients to someone who can accommodate their requests. In my last appointment with Lola, the quality of the nail service was not great, and the gel application was not good, resulting in chipping within a few days. I had requested a milky pink flower gel. Which Lola took pictures of herself. I’m sure she can go back to the pictures and see that the work she provided was terrible. I feel that we were treated poorly, potentially to prioritize their white clients. Which our money is just as good as theirs. Paying $20-$25 in tips every time we went. I tried to be polite and understanding but the way we got treated was too much. I will never return back to this place and especially not be referring anyone again. I can’t believe I almost paid $1200 + to learn a nail course with these people either. So...
